Netflix has released the official trailer for Shadow and Bone ahead of its release on the streaming service in April. Based on the betselling novels by Leigh Bardugo, the Shadow and Bone series was developed for the small screen by Eric Heisserer ( Bird Box ). It is set to be released on April 23, 2021, and you can watch the teaser trailer below. Spike TV will celebrate the work of legendary action movie star David Carradine with a marathon featuring some of his iconic characters on Saturday, June 13 (2:00pm-3:00am ET/PT). A Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated actor who was given a star on Hollywood Blvd's "Walk of Fame," Carradine's career spanned five decades with dozens of memorable roles ranging from the Kung Fu television series (1972-1975) to Quentin Tarantino's classic Kill Bill films. Back in January, 20th Century Fox set an October 7, 2016 release date for their X-Men spinoff Gambit , which has Channing Tatum attached to star and produce. Production was originally scheduled to start this fall, with Rupert Wyatt attached to direct, until the filmmaker backed out in September. The project is now back on the right track, with Doug Liman entering talks to direct last week. Collider spoke with producer Simon Kinberg , before the Doug Liman news broke, and he revealed that shooting won't happen until next spring, which could mean that the release may be shifted to 2017.
