Portuguese filmmaker Carlos Conceição’s Angolan War of Independence drama Tommy Guns has won the Europa Cinemas Label as Best European film at the 75th Locarno Film Festival , running August 3 to 13. The feature explores the war through the eyes of two youngsters – a local girl and a Portuguese soldier – who are caught up in the conflict. Priyanka sizzled in a white attire and seductive moves in the item song 'Ram Chahe Leela' and within three days of its release, it has crossed over one million hits. We now wonder if Kangna Ranut be able to impress her audiences with her mujra number the way Priyanka has done. With abusive language and scenes that test your patience, Rajjo is one of the most badly made films in recent times! Was Kangna Ranaut desperate for work or was she offered heaps of money...? Not sure what tempted this talented actress to take up a film such as Rajjo ! Whether it be dialogues, acting or screenplay - Rajjo unfortunately has nothing new to offer. Aretha Franklin intends to drastically reduce the frequency of her performances following the release of a new full-length in the fall. “I am retiring this year,” the singer told WDIV Local 4 in Detroit. “I will be recording, but this will be my last year in concert. This is it.” Franklin feels comfortable stepping away from active duty with her remarkable legacy intact. “I feel very, very enriched and satisfied with respect to where my career came from and where it is now,” she noted. “I’ll be pretty much satisfied, but I’m not going to go anywhere and just sit down and do nothing. CBS The Metallica duet with Lady Gaga at the Grammys was doomed by a stagehand who got reckless with James Hetfield 's mic ... seconds before they went live. Sources connected to the production tell us everything was fine right before the "Moth Into Flame" collab was about to begin. Gaga and the band's line check, right before the performance, went off without a hitch. However, between the mic check and their act ... a wire under the stage got unplugged. We're told a stagehand did it by accident, but the damage was done -- Hetfield's mic was dead through most of the performance. They eventually fixed the unplugged wire with seconds left in the song. We reached out the Grammys, but no word back yet. James handled it all like a pro, 'cause that's rock 'n' roll. Insult to injury? Laverne Cox forgot to mention Metallica in her intro.
