Joy Behar’s Line About Missing Friends On ‘The View’ Brings A Faux Tear To Whoopi Goldberg’s Eyes

February 8, 2023 by deadline.com

Joy Behar said something she shouldn’t have said on The View. This time, it was about one of her colleagues. As the show’s “Hot Topics” segment discussed the importance of workplace friendships, Behar talked about her one-time leave-taking from the show. She said that she was glad when she was ousted, because her “friends” from the show had already departed. .”I always have friends where I work, and if I don’t have friends at the job, I will not keep the job,” Behar said. “So, when I was fired last time from this show, people say to me, ‘Were you okay with that?’ and my answer is, I was happy, because all my friends had left already. So, there was no reason to stay anymore. I mean it.” Goldberg was part of the panel when Behar left, and immediately brought that up. “Really? All your friends left?” She then did a fake-cry, using a quivering lip. “It’s okay, I’m cool,” she joked. Behar quickly began clarifying. “You had just come on, and my backstage friends had … [Read more...] about Joy Behar’s Line About Missing Friends On ‘The View’ Brings A Faux Tear To Whoopi Goldberg’s Eyes

‘The Flash’ Boss Eric Wallace Teases Season 9’s Big Bad & Explains What’s In Store For Final Episodes

February 8, 2023 by deadline.com

SPOILER ALERT! This post contains details from the Season 9 premiere of The Flash on The CW . The Flash is nearly done fighting crime in Central City — but not before one final villain comes to town. The CW series’ ninth and final season kicked off Wednesday night with the introduction of some new hurdles for Barry Allen and Team Flash to overcome. The episode begins with Barry and Iris (Candice Patton) getting stuck in a time loop, which exacerbates some of their fears about the passing of time and the lack of control they have over what may or may not happen to them. In order to get out of it, the couple must decide to take on life head on, together — rather than avoiding the problem and each other. But just when things seem to be settling down again, Barry is faced with yet another bump in the road. Viewers will remember that, at the end of Season 8, Caitlin is on a mission to bring back Frost after she sacrificed herself by turning into Hellfrost to … [Read more...] about ‘The Flash’ Boss Eric Wallace Teases Season 9’s Big Bad & Explains What’s In Store For Final Episodes
