‘Who’s The Boss?’ Sequel Starring Tony Danza & Alyssa Milano In Works At Freevee With Mike Royce & Brigitte Muñoz-Liebowitz Writing

EXCLUSIVE : The Who’s the Boss? sequel series has found a home. The project, reuniting original stars Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano and executive produced by Norman Lear, has landed at Amazon Freevee for development. The follow-up is being written/executive produced by One Day at a Tim e co-creator/exec producer/co-showrunner Mike Royce and co-executive producer Brigitte Muñoz-Liebowitz. Sony Pictures Television, which owns the rights to the original series and has been working on the sequel for the past two years, is the studio. Danza and Milano are set to reprise their roles as Tony and Samantha Micelli. Set 30 years after the events of the original series, the sequel will focus on former Major League Baseball player/retired housekeeper Tony Micelli (Danza) and his relationship with his daughter Samantha (Milano). Those of the words of Bo Brady, who’s joining the action in chapter 2 of Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem beginning July 11. Peter Reckell (Bo) and Kristian Alfonso (Hope Williams Brady) are reprising their super-couple roles in the next evolution of the DOOL spinoff designed especially for Peacock. Dawn Porter Explores Supreme Court In Showtime Docuseries ‘Confirmed’

The Supreme Court has been under the lens in a major way after its landmark ruling to reverse Roe v. Wade last week. Dawn Porter , director of documentaries including The Way I See It and John Lewis: Good Trouble , will now explore the history of the court, the justices, decisions and confirmation battles that have shaped the United States, in four-part docuseries Confirmed for Showtime . The series is produced by Porter’s Trilogy Films and Sony Pictures Television and will air in 2023. It comes after Porter struck an overall deal with the Eli Holzman and Aaron Saidman-run Industrial Media, which is now owned by Sony. Porter will direct and exec produce with Holzman and Saidman exec producing for Sony. EXCLUSIVE: Jacob Batalon , Alana Boden , Adain Bradley and Avantika have been cast as the leads in Screen Gems and Alloy Entertainment’s Horrorscope , based on Alloy’s same-name novel, written by Nicholas Adams. Humberly González and Wolfgang Novogratz have also joined the cast. Anna Halberg and Spenser Cohen wrote the script and will make their feature film directorial debut.
