RICHARD Gere and wife Alejandra have officially announced they are expecting a baby. The 69-year-old actor and the Spanish publicist, 35, shared the big news on Instagram along with a picture of the Dalai Lama blessing their baby. Alejandra wrote: "A very special moment just a few minutes ago... IT’S the drama about a fat teen that’s become a supersized problem – with nearly 200,000 people signing a petition to have Netflix series Insatiable banned. Snowflakes have slammed the show as “fat-phobic” — before it has even been released. The outrage started when the streaming TV service released a two-minute trailer last week for the dark comedy, which is out next month. With newfound confidence, Patty, played by Debby Ryan is hell-bent on revenge after years of torment over her size. The change.org petition argues that the series perpetuates the myth that young women “must be thin” to be valued. Former Radio 1 DJ Jameela Jamil — now in US TV comedy The Good Place — joined in with the criticism of the show. She tweeted: … [Read more...] about From Pretty Woman to Ugly Betty, here’s the TV & film classics that snowflakes might’ve tried to axe like Netflix’s Insatiable

But it took a national #MeToo-era scandal to prompt Annette Roque to finally say enough is enough and to move to end her 20-year-old marriage to Matt Lauer, the ousted former host of the “Today” show. People magazine reports that the couple are “on the brink” of divorce but said their split isn’t likely to come cheap. Over their years together, the couple amassed considerable assets in the hundreds of millions of dollars. That’s largely due to Lauer’s earnings as the “Today” show. After NBC fired the 60-year-old Lauer in late November for inappropriate sexual conduct with several female staffers, Time magazine estimated his earnings over his career at the network to be more than $100 million and as high as $200 million. The New … [Read more...] about For Matt Lauer, his divorce from Anette Roque should be especially expensive
