She was 78. Sebastian was born in 1944 in New York City where she lived until she moved to Los Angeles. She started her career in 1977 when she was the still photographer on the set of Joan Micklin Silver’s film Between The Lines. With over 100 credits to her name, she worked with the likes of Sam Mendes ( American Beauty , 1999), Joel and Ethan Coen ( True Grit , 2010), and Taylor Sheridan ( Hell or High Water , 2016)–the latter is documented as her last known photography job.
