RELATED: Chris Evans' Captain America Return Has Marvel Fans Divided The Captain America actor could also be debunking the reports. Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. were both pretty adamant that Avengers: Endgame was the end of the road for them. RDJ likened it to leaving the party before being asked to leave. "You never say never," Evans responded when asked about returning in 2019. "I love the character. I don't know." Evans, along with MCU fans believe that they gave Cap the perfect sendoff, and more than a few believe that it would sour the events of Avengers: Endgame. … [Read more...] about Chris Evans Shares Reaction to Captain America News, Casting Doubt on His Return

‘WandaVision’ Premiere Recap: The Past Is Never Dead
But why these two shows, for starters? Why not go back to Lucy Ricardo or Ralph Kramden? It could be that The Dick Van Dyke Show was the first true suburban sitcom (I Love Lucy started out in Manhattan, while The Honeymooners was set in Brooklyn), and that makes it easier to incorporate it into the idea of Wanda and her synthezoid husband retreating to a more peaceful place after all their hectic (and, for him, fatal) adventures. Or it could be that — especially for the era in which they originally aired — Dick Van Dyke and Bewitched were pretty liberated in how they depicted both their female leads and, more importantly, in the women’s relationships with their husbands. Both stayed home and (eventually) raised the kids, but Rob treated Laura as a peer, while Bewitched viewed Darrin as an idiot whose own insecurity was forever hampering his goddess of a wife. The Martian Wins Big at the Box Office with $55 Million
Opening in limited release this weekend is Lionsgate's Freeheld, which earned $40,000 from 5 theaters for an $8,000 per-screen average and The Weinstein Company's Shanghai, which opened after nearly five years of delays, earning a dreadful $26,400 from 103 theaters, for a horrid $256 per-screen average. John Cusack leads an international cast including Li Gong, Chow Yun-Fat, David Morse, Ken Watanabe, Franka Potente, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hugh Bonneville. Fox Searchlight's documentary He Named Me Malala also opened in just four theaters, earning an impressive $56,000 for a $14,000 per-screen average … [Read more...] about The Martian Wins Big at the Box Office with $55 Million

Everyone From Lizzo to Mick Jagger Is Celebrating Joe Biden’s Presidential Victory
Actor Mandy Patinkin — who recently reunited with his Princess Bride cast mates for a table read in support of the Wisconsin Democratic Party — celebrated with a video of he and his wife, actress Kathryn Grody, dancing in Biden regalia. Patinkin has been using his Twitter to encourage voter turnout for months now, telling Rolling Stone: “If you are a citizen and do not exercise that power to vote, I am not exaggerating, that is a crime against humanity.” Considering this election had the highest voter turnout in the last 120 years, Patinkin has a lot to dance about Saturday. … [Read more...] about Everyone From Lizzo to Mick Jagger Is Celebrating Joe Biden’s Presidential Victory
