HBO Max has released a trailer and key art for The Runaway Bunny , an animated special based on the classic children’s book by Margaret Wise Brown. Tracee Ellis Ross narrates and performs an original lullaby by Brown in the special which premieres March 25 on HBO Max. The special also includes songs performed by Grammy-winning artists Mariah Carey, Kelly Rowland, Rosanne Cash, Ziggy Marley and Kimya Dawson, as well as Grammy nominees Rufus Wainwright and Michael Kiwanuka. Originally published in 1942 by HarperCollins Publishers, the book has sold over 12 million copies and continues to enchant generations of children. The Runaway Bunny, through the use of hand-drawn animation, brings the illustrations of Clement Hurd and the poetry of Brown to animated life for the first time. Alien: Covenant Concept Art & Sequel Ideas Hint at Shaw’s Fate
Ridley Scott recently returned to the Alien franchise in an arguably more proper way than he did with 2012's Prometheus by releasing Alien: Covenant . People have very mixed feelings about both of the Alien prequels so far, but if lackluster box office doesn't get in the way, we are at least getting one more entry in the franchise. Now, writer Damon Lindelof has shed some light on where the story could possibly go, should Fox give the green light to the Alien: Covenant sequel, which was being called Alien: Awakening last we heard. Alien: Covenant 2 in Trouble as Fox Rethinks Franchise
There are few franchises that have endured in the way that the Alien franchise has endured. For nearly four decades Ridley Scott's creation has found a way to keep going, even if all of the entries haven't been able to live up to the first two movies. This summer Alien: Covenant looked like it was poised to totally reinvigorate the series with Ridley Scott back at the helm and the Xenomorphs back on the big screen. That didn't really work out and now the other prequels/sequels the director has planned may be in jeopardy. Ridley Scott Thinks Alien Franchise Has Run Out of Steam
Alien: Awakening , the proposed next movie in Ridley Scott's prequel series, might have to scrub Alien from the title. As it doesn't sound like it will feature the iconic xenomoprh. Unfortunately, it looks like the Alien franchise may have mostly run its course. Prior to the release of Alien: Covenant earlier this year, it looked like Ridley Scott was getting ready to revive the sci-fi series in a big way, which had him speaking rather bullishly about the future. However, since the movie flopped, he's changed his tone.
