Parampara is a Telugu crime drama streaming television series that began its first episode and premiered on December 24, 2021. The story of Parampara is that of David Vs Goliath's plot, adapted from one of the episodes mentioned in the Bible. The underdog fights his powerful wily and ruthless uncle for the integrity and honor of his wronged father. Parampara is about Naidu, the patriarch of the Naidu family, and his brother Mohan Rao, who have an unbreakable bond as far as the world is concerned. Trouble brews inside the Naidu household as Gopi, Mohanrao's son, decides to unmask Naidu, who has been oppressing Mohanrao in the guise of love. Getty Three men have been charged in connection with the killing of James "Whitey" Bulger , one of America's most notorious mobsters, nearly 4 years after he was beaten to death in federal prison. The U.S. Attorney's office charged Fotios "Freddy" Geas , Paul "Pauly" J. DeCologero , and Sean McKinnon with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder Thursday in connection with Bulger's killing back in 2018 at the U.S. Penitentiary Hazleton in Bruceton Mills, WV. Geas and DeCologero are accused of hitting Bulger multiple times in the head, causing his death -- they've also been charged with aiding and abetting first-degree murder and assault resulting in serious bodily injury. Yesterday was a good one for filmmaker Michael Mann . He began production in Italy on Ferrari , and learned that his first novel landed atop The New York Times Bestseller hardcover list. Heat 2 fleshes out the events before and after Mann’s 1995 crime classic Heat , and lands atop the NYT list in its first week in publication. Mann wrote his novel debut with co-writer Meg Gardiner in a book published through Mann’s William Morrow imprint. Heat 2 is the first book in a three book multi-million dollar deal between Michael Mann books and the Harper Collins division, In a Deadline feature on the book last week, Mann said that he plans to lean into continuing the crime story, which in the present focuses on the criminal exploits of Chris Shiherlis, played by Val Kilmer in the original film, and Detective Vincent Hanna, played by Al Pacino in the film. Searchlight has boarded Suncoast — a new film marking the feature directorial debut of Laura Chinn ( Florida Girls ) that will star Laura Linney ( Ozark ), Woody Harrelson ( Triangle of Sadness ) and Nico Parker ( The Last of Us ) — Deadline can confirm. The film going into production next month is a drama based on Chinn’s life experience from the early 2000s. It follows a teenager (Parker) living with her strong-willed mother (Linney) who must take her brother to live at a specialized facility. There, she strikes up an unlikely friendship with an eccentric activist (Harrelson) amid protests surrounding controversial medical cases. Stephen P. Neary , creator of animated series The Fungies!, has slammed HBO Max for pulling his Jennifer Coolidge -voiced show from the service. The Fungies! is among 30 titles that are set to be removed from the streamer as Warner Bros. Discovery continues its cost-cutting measures and ahead of the merger of the HBO Max and Discovery+ services next year. Neary took aim for a lack of promotion for his “fever dream of a show” and also highlighted the fact that he and his team worked hard through the pandemic to ensure that it could air.
