Everything, All the Time: Is Life in the Fast Lane Better?
Opinions expressed are solely those of the author and do not reflect the views of Rolling Stone editors or publishers. When Joe Walsh, Glenn Frey and Don Henley of the Eagles wrote Life in the Fast Lane in the late 1970s, little did they know how fast that lane would become. Investors may be inclined to look for a “hockey stick” pattern, in which there’s a short period of steady growth followed by a dramatic period of exponential growth. This can influence startups that are looking for funding to focus on things that may offer quick growth in the … [Read more...] about Everything, All the Time: Is Life in the Fast Lane Better?

The “Control” clip has plenty to excite the Mulder in everybody who yearns to believe, and as scientist George Wald reminds us at the beginning: “I think there’s no question that we live in an inhabited universe that has life all over it.” Released back in February, After the Disco followed up Broken Bells’ self-titled 2010 … [Read more...] about Broken Bells Live Out Close Encounters in Their UFO-Themed ‘Control’ Video
