Yesterday Damon Lindelof shared a letter with fans regarding his HBO Watchmen series. In that letter, he reveals that his series will not be an adaptation of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbon's graphic novel. He doesn't want to touch that because of his respect for it, so this new series of his will expand on the universe, which I think it the best possible way to play in that world without adapting a story that fans are already happy with. Today we have the names of several actors that have been cast in the series so far, and I love who they've brought on board! The series will star Regina King (Seven Seconds), Don Johnson (Django Unchained), Tim Blake Nelson (O Brother Where Art Thou), Louis Gossett Jr. (Iron Eagle), Adelaide Clemens (Silent Hill: Revelation), and Andrew Howard (Hell on Wheels). … [Read more...] about HBO’s WATCHMEN Series Casts Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., and More!

By Matt Kawahara Published 9:50 pm, Monday, May 21, 2018 Tim Hardaway’s NBA career got off to an auspicious beginning. In 1989, the Warriors used the 14th overall draft pick on the 6-foot guard from Texas-El Paso. As Hardaway recalled Monday, he actually made his Warriors debut at his alma mater, in an exhibition game against the Jazz. Before tip-off, Hardaway’s teammates asked the rookie to lead them onto the court. “So I ran out there,” Hardaway recalled. “And they stopped way back in the tunnel. I ran all the way out there. And I was by myself.” The rookie was fooled — but he’d also run onto a court where he was already a star. The fans “all stood up and gave me a standing ovation,” Hardaway said. “It was kind of embarrassing.” It was also a precursor of sorts for Hardaway, who would make three of his five All-Star teams and hear plenty of ovations while playing for the Warriors. On Monday, Hardaway was … [Read more...] about Former Warriors guard Tim Hardaway ‘humbled’ to join Bay Area Hall of Fame
