Steve Kerr Says There’s ‘Hope’ Andrew Wiggins Returns This Season
Golden State Warriors Steve Kerr is optimistic Andrew Wiggins will play again this season ... saying Tuesday night there's "hope" the All-Star forward can rejoin the Warriors in the near future. Kerr was asked about Wiggins -- who hasn't played an NBA game since Feb.13 due to family reasons -- prior to the Warriors' 120-109 victory over the Pelicans, and he said that the 28-year-old has been "working out every day," but a timeline for his return is still up in the air. The company’s SundanceTV has renewed Hilarie Burton Morgan ’s It Couldn’t Happen Here and has also ordered two new series as it ramps up its True Crime Story franchise. It Couldn’t Happen Here returns for a second season, hosted by One Tree Hill and The Walking Dead star Burton Morgan. Separately, it has ordered True Crime Story: Citizen Detective and Crimes of Entitlement (w/t). The three series will air on SundanceTV, AMC+ and SundanceNow. EXCLUSIVE: Vertigo Films is partnering with its ‘ Britannia ’ team Tom Butterworth and David Morrissey for The Dirty Squad , a new original drama series on based on the first exposé of corruption within the London Metropolitan Police. The news comes fresh after Deadline revealed that Sky had canceled epic fantasy historical drama Britannia after Season 3’s cliffhanger finale. ‘Paradise Court’ Horror Film Based On Zenescope Comics In Works From Screen Gems, Assemble Media
EXCLUSIVE : Sony ‘s Screen Gems is in very early development on a Paradise Court film based on the horror comic book series from Zenescope Entertainment, and has enlisted Assemble Media to produce it, Deadline has learned. Created by Zenescope’s CEO Joe Brusha, Paradise Court takes its name from a luxurious and exclusive gated community where beneath an idyllic facade lies a deadly secret — all the residents are serial killers with unique proclivities and manicured lawns cut as sharp as the knives in their kitchens. The project was brought to Screen Gems by Jack Heller and Assemble Media.
