The Palace intrigue continues: Martha Plimpton ( The Good Wife ) has joined the cast of the HBO limited series that stars Kate Winslet , Matthias Schoenaerts , Andrea Riseboroug h and Hugh Grant . In addition, Jessica Hobbs ( The Crown ) has signed on as a director/co-executive producer. The limited series follows the unraveling of an authoritarian regime within the walls of a palace. The Palace is from Successio n duo Will Tracy and Frank Rich and The Queen director Stephen Frears . Winslet also executive produces with Frank Rich and Tracey Seaward. Writers are Seth Reiss, Juli Weiner, Jen Spyra, Gary Shteyngart and Sarah DeLappe. Details of King Charles III ’s coronation in May were revealed Saturday by Buckingham Palace . Three days of celebrations are planned, including a concert featuring “global music icons and contemporary stars,” none of whom were named. The concert will take place on Sunday, May 7 at Windsor Castle ’s East Lawn on the day after the coronation, the latter a solemn religious affair. The music show will be part of celebrations across the UK, part of the so-called “Coronation Big Lunch.” The concert attendees will be drawn from an audience composed of volunteers from the King and Queen Consort’s charity affiliations and those public members selected through a national ballot held by the BBC. Robbie Knievel , son of superstar ’70s motorcycle daredevil Evel Knievel and an accomplished showman in his own right, died in hospice care after a battle with pancreatic cancer, according to multiple reports. He was 60. Like his father, Kneivel was adroit at leveraging his abilities on a motorcycle into a media spectacle. Over the course of his career, he had eight live television specials centered around his feats. He soared over the fountains at Caesars Palace 22 years after his father famously crashed in a similar attempt. In a pay-per-view jump-off with British motorcycle stuntman Eddie Kidd, the duo jumped for distance in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. In 1998, Knievel attempted a record-breaking jump of 231 feet over 30 limousines at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas . His father was there to support him. In 1999, Knievel executed a building-to-building jump between two 13-story towers at the Jockey Club in Las Vegas. A family source tells Robbie was in hospice care for his final days after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He died early Friday morning with his daughters at his side. Getty Robbie, also known as "Kaptain Robbie Knievel," followed in his dad's footsteps from a young age -- jumping his bike at only 4 years old, and first performing at Evel's show at Madison Square Garden when he was 8. He went on to perform over 350 jumps in his career, setting world records for 20 of them. One of the most memorable was successfully jumping the fountains at Caesars Palace in 1989 -- a feat his father tried and failed at in the past.
