Here’s a conspiracy theory so crazy that it’s almost impossible to fathom that it’s gaining steam on one of the major cable news networks: The explosive New York Times op-ed, written anonymously by a senior Trump administration official, was actually written by the New York Times. The entire New York Times editorial board, according to this theory, conspired to invent a Trump administration official, and then wrote and published an op-ed bashing the White House — attributed to their fictional official. Everyone working inside the Trump administration is perfectly happy with the president’s performance, the theory goes, so the Times editorial board must be lying to us. This lunacy was floated by Candace Owens on Fox News Sunday night. Understandable, as Owens is an Infowars alumnus. Dana Perino, appearing alongside Owens, at least appeared skeptical of the claim. Greg Gutfeld, co-host of The Five, endorsed the theory and expanded on it in one of his … [Read more...] about Jeanine Pirro, Greg Gutfeld Go Full Tinfoil Hat: The New York Times Wrote the Op-Ed

On Thursday night, former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain floated an idea that the anonymous New York Times op-ed didn’t come from the White House at all. Appearing on The Ingraham Angle, Cain and Laura Ingraham welcomed the suggestion from Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) that President Donald Trump should have everyone in the White House take a lie detector test in order to catch the op-ed author. However, there was one theory that Cain was eager to share. “There’s one thing no one has brought up,” Cain said. “What if somebody inside The New York Times wrote it?”No one has ever brought that up.” That idea seemed to startle the Fox News host. “That would be perpetrating a complete fraud on the American public,” Ingraham reacted. “You think they did that?” “I didn’t say ‘I thought they did,'” Cain responded. “I’m saying that’s not being talked about. But that’s … [Read more...] about Herman Cain Suggests That Someone at The New York Times Wrote The Anonymous Op-Ed

For weeks now we’ve heard about reports that special counsel Robert Mueller wants to speak with President Trump. Well, we apparently have some of the questions he wants to ask. The New York Times has obtained a list of questions Mueller has for the President, including: The majority relate to possible obstruction of justice, demonstrating how an investigation into Russia’s election meddling grew to include an examination of the president’s conduct in office. Among them are queries on any discussions Mr. Trump had about his attempts to fire Mr. Mueller himself and what the president knew about possible pardon offers to Mr. Flynn… A few questions reveal that Mr. Mueller is still investigating possible coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia… Through his questions, Mr. Mueller also tries to tease out Mr. Trump’s views on law enforcement officials and whether he sees them as independent investigators or people who should loyally protect him. … [Read more...] about BREAKING: The New York Times Obtains List of Questions Mueller Has for Trump
New York Times is backtracking on their previously expressed commitment to use the word “torture” when referring to torture. This apparent refusal comes after the CIA’s torture program has long been described accurately–including by the New York Times. And the illegal nature of the CIA program–that is, its violation of various U.S. laws and treaties–has been thoroughly established. A prominent article from Wednesday evening reports on the checkered past of Mike Pompeo, President Donald Trump‘s nominee to replace outgoing Rex Tillerson as the administration’s secretary of state. While citing some of the opposition to Pompeo’s appointment, the Times categorizes torture in the following way: Senator Rand Paul, Republican of Kentucky, has vowed to vote against him in part because of Mr. Pompeo’s past support for enhanced interrogation techniques that have been likened to torture. This isn’t the first time the New York Times … [Read more...] about Torture is a Legal Term. Why Does the New York Times Refuse to Acknowledge it?
