Viola Davis ( The Woman King ) is the latest addition to the cast of Lionsgate ’s The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes . The Oscar winner has been tapped for the role of Head Gamemaker Volumnia Gaul, joining an ensemble led by Tom Blyth and Rachel Zegler. The upcoming film from returning Hunger Games director Francis Lawrence is the latest in a dystopian YA franchise, based on Suzanne Collins’ novels, which has thus far grossed over $3 billion worldwide. Inanna Sarkis Scripted Podcast Series ‘Zaya’ Lands Deal At Realm Podcast Network (EXCLUSIVE) Zaya , a scripted podcast penned and directed by actress Inanna Sarkis. Sarkis also stars in the pod, which tells the story of a Middle Eastern student living in Brooklyn who finds her world shattered when her older brother is violently kidnapped before her eyes. In her quest to bring him home, she discovers there was much more to him than she ever knew. TMZ.com Bryce Dallas Howard claims she got the short end of the stick for the 'Jurassic World' trilogy, making far less money than Chris Pratt despite being co-leads ... but that didn't stop him from making sure they got equal pay outside their film contract. Since 2015, Bryce Dallas Howard has starred as Claire Dearing in the Jurassic World trilogy alongside Chris Pratt . In 2018, Variety reported that the actress was being paid $2 million less than her co-star, who had been paid $10 million for the second film. Now, Howard has revealed that the pay gap was actually much larger. “The reports were so interesting because I was paid so much less than the reports even said, so much less,” Howard told Insider . “When I started negotiating for Jurassic , it was 2014, and it was a different world, and I was at a great disadvantage. And, unfortunately, you have to sign up for three movies, and so your deals are set.” The actress said she has mostly reconciled the pay gap, largely thanks to Pratt.
