Marvel's Black Panther is shaping up to be the first box office blockbuster of 2018, with new details about one pivotal character surfacing that could have you looking at him in a whole different light. Christopher Priest, who became the first black writer at either Marvel or DC in 1983, is perhaps best known for his iconic run of Black Panther comics in 1998, which helped revitalize the brand and serves as the inspiration for next month's Black Panther movie. The new report states that we will finally see some real footage of the movie starting on February 16th for the opening of Marvel's Black Panther . Ryan Coogler says that Black Panther is the James Bond of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a new interview promoting the movie. Some have called Guardians of the Galaxy the Star Wars of the MCU and it appears that Marvel had the idea for the James Bond element back when the movie was being pitched. Excitement is already high for Black Panther , which is now less than a month away and one of the most anticipated movies of 2018. Coogler and the cast are currently at the very beginning of a press tour that will last until well after the movie makes its debut in theaters. Marvel's Black Panther is one of the most highly-anticipated movies of the year and is poised to be 2018's first legitimate blockbuster. As the release date approaches and the marketing campaign keeps rolling down the tracks, some brand new videos have been released online to further hype up T'Challa's upcoming solo adventure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. First up is a clip from Black Panther , which gives us a great taste of what to expect from the action sequences in the movie. The clip debuted on The Ellen Show , with star Chadwick Boseman having popped by for an interview. The incident occurred in 2017 ... Joseph Perez had suffered a mental breakdown and police were called to help. As cops tried restraining the 41-year-old, you hear him scream, "I can't breathe," and "Let me redeem myself." The officers tell him to calm down and breathe, but Perez is clearly fighting for air and it becomes a vicious cycle -- the longer his airway is restricted, the more agitated he becomes and the officers use his resistance to justify more compression. Paramedics arrived and told a cop to sit on the backboard they brought to carry Perez into the ambulance. The backboard was placed on Perez's back as his head was face down on the ground. Perez died in an ambulance on the way to the hospital.
