7 minutes ago During this year's EVO Championship Series a number of companies made a number of announcements for a number of games. That may seem like a silly bit of reductionism for a ton of content that came out of the annual eSports fighting game competition, but it sums up the general gist that a lot of companies in the fighting game scene had a lot of big announcements to share during EVO. One of the biggest announcements to come out of this year's tournament series took place right after the Tekken 7 championships wrapped up, where producer Katsuhiro Harada came on stage to reveal some brand new characters for the game, one of which included Negan from The Walking Dead. The trailer was posted up on a number of channels, including the Tekken channel and Bandai Namco's channel. The Tekken franchise has introduced some weird fighters to its franchise over the years, although the game's upcoming addition to its roster might just be the weirdest one it has done yet. The Walking Dead’s Negan To Join The Fight In Tekken 7
BEGIN SLIDESHOWThe Walking Dead’s Negan will come as part of Tekken 7’s DLC.A recent trailer for Tekken 7 released by Bandai Namco Entertainment America reveals that The Walking Dead’s Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) will be coming to the game as a playable character. Of course, he’ll be wielding his trusty barbed-wire-wrapped baseball bat, Lucille. Negan will come as part of Tekken 7’s season two DLC pass.The big bad will be one of 43 characters players can choose in Tekken 7, the ninth installment of the long-running fighting game series. When Final Fantasy XV’s Noctis Is Coming To Tekken 7
4 hours ago Bandai Namco has teamed up with Square Enix for a little bit of cross-promotional content, which includes Final Fantasy XV's lead character, Notcis, making his fighting game debut in Bandai's prime-time 3D fighter, Tekken 7 starting March 20th. Noctis Lucis Caelum is set to arrive in Tekken 7 for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC starting March 20th. The trailer reveals Noctis in action within Bandai's game for the very first time. The trailer starts with Noctis willing the bloodline sword into his hands and posing. It then showcases the new Hammerhead stage, which is based on the gas station that the boy band visit frequently throughout their journey through Eos in the luxury town car. Ignis, Gladiolus, and Prompto are standing in the background, looking on as the fighters duel within the arena. A Chocobo stands in the background behind the Quartz Regalia.
