Since the mid 1980s, every new generation of kids has grown up with their own version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. What started out as a grittier comic book property became much more kid-friendly when an animated series took off in 1987 and launched a somewhat less kid-friendly feature film adaptation that eventually steered more towards live-action cartoon territory with its big screen sequels. As we learned at the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Comic-Con panel, the show has some new supernatural ninja elements at play, slight shifts in personality traits, stylized … [Read more...] about ‘Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Trailer & Villain Voice Cast Revealed [Comic-Con 2018]

31 seconds ago It didn't take long for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to enjoy popularity outside of the comics following their debut on the printed page in 1984. Their first animated TV show arrived in 1987, and three years later, the heroes in a half-shell led their first live action movie, which was followed by two sequels in 1991 and 1993, respectively. Two decades after that, new live action versions of the Turtles made the jump to the big screen, but following the release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, there wasn't any word about a third movie in this series coming out. Now it's been revealed that rather than move ahead with a sequel, the Turtles will be rebooted yet again. Andrew Dodge, who wrote the Jason Bateman-led comedy Bad Words, has reportedly been tapped to write the next Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. However, despite this latest go-around being intended to "relaunch the franchise," THR's report also noted that just like the previous … [Read more...] about The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Are Getting Another Reboot

That seems to be Paramount’s goal with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, as the heroes in the half-shell are once again getting the big screen treatment, even though their two previous adventures sputtered at the box office. But while Dodge is new the series, a few names behind-the-scenes are not. The film will be developed by Platinum Dunes and producers Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, and Michael Bay, the same team behind 2014’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and … [Read more...] about Yep, They’re Making Another ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Movie
