A Marvel Studios leak has possibly shed some new light on the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 4. Part of the leak talks about Keanu Reeves being in negotiations to join The Eternals cast, which has already been previously reported. With that being said, it is not clear if this is the same source from where the Reeves news originated from, but the source has been reliable in the past. There are some potential Phase 4 spoilers below, so read ahead at your own risk. James Gunn has already denied including Nova in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 after stating he did not want to introduce new characters in the final installment of the franchise. WarnerMedia-owned digital video outlet Rooster Teeth has tapped Jordan Levin as General Manager, shifting co-founder and former CEO Matt Hullum to the newly created post of Chief Content Officer. Levin, an industry veteran known for his executive stints at the WB network and, more recently, Awesomeness, Xbox and the NFL, will oversee strategy, creative and operations. He will report to Tom Pickett, CEO of Rooster Teeth parent Otter Media, whose brand portfolio also includes Crunchyroll and VRV. WarnerMedia parent AT&T launched Otter in partnership with Peter Chernin in 2014 before taking full control in 2018. Rooster Teeth, which recently trimmed its workforce by 13%, is part of an overall assessment of digital video and streaming by AT&T and WarnerMedia, which plan to roll out HBO Max next spring. EXCLUSIVE: Mark Gill, Andrew Gunn, Guy Botham and Vincent Bruzzese have teamed to launch Solstice Studios, a Los Angeles-based theatrical producer and distributor that will focus on mid-budget movies for wide release. The company opens its doors today with $400 million in capitalization, including $150M through Ingenious Media, and will be involved in fully financing, producing, developing, selling internationally and distributing feature films in the U.S. on a wide-release basis. The plan is for Solstice to produce 3-5 movies a year for a global audience in the $30M-$80M range, while acquiring another 2-4 titles a year. Former Discovery executives Mark Procter and Steve Jones have launched non-scripted production company Big Little Fish. The pair have established the London-based producer and have begun developing two documentary projects. They are working on Hitler’s Women: The Forgotten Nazis and Breaking Dad. Hitler’s Women: The Forgotten Nazis will utilise archive and a new crop of historians and experts including James Wyllie, author of recently published Nazi Wives to analyse the women behind the infamous men at the head of the Third Reich. Wyllie will act as consultant and on-screen contributor for the series. Breaking Dad (w/t) recounts the true story of Richard Lubbock, who went from mild-mannered family-man to drug kingpin during the early noughties.
