Rob Liefeld is one of my favorite people to interview. He's one of the most animated and energetic people to have a conversation with and it's always a lengthy and engaging chat. As the creator of Deadpool, Cable and Domino (amongst many others), he's seen his creations come to life in ways that many creators dream about and he's certainly aware of his luck in having that happen. Now, DEADPOOL 2 is finally here, following on the heels of the groundbreaking (and fourth-wall shattering) original, which starred Ryan Reynolds as the shit-talking X-Universe anti-hero Wade Wilson AKA Deadpool. In our long chat, we tackled a number of things, including some info on his upcoming Extreme Universe characters on Netflix (more on that later this week), but firstly we talk about DEADPOOL 2, including casting, Reynolds … [Read more...] about Ex: Rob Liefeld talks Deadpool 2 & how the sequel compares to the original

Also, as a recent trailer revealed, Lewis will be playing Shatterstar in the upcoming and much-anticipated sequel Deadpool 2. I got the chance to chat with Tan on his current work on Into The Badlands and Deadpool 2, his potential future projects, his top three Marvel films, his thoughts on whether there will ever be an Asian American version of Black Panther (and his thoughts on the upcoming live-action Mulan and Crazy Rich Asians), and his views on how Asian Americans are currently represented in media. American Crime returns to ABC Wednesday with a new season and a new story in tow. Creator John Ridley brings back many members of season one's acclaimed ensemble — most notably newly minted Emmy winner Regina King, Felicity Huffman and Timothy Hutton — but not much else is the same. Instead of Modesto, Calif., season two takes places in Indianapolis, and instead of a murder case and the subsequent racial tensions that ensue, season two centers on a sexual assault case involving several members of a high school basketball team and the subsequent socioeconomic divisions that come to the surface. Ahead of season two's 10 p.m. premiere, The Hollywood Reporter spoke with Ridley about the new season's biggest challenge, the decision to bring back so many of his season one cast and why he wants "people to be baffled." How do you come up with the story of season two? What influenced you in coming up with the crime and the circumstances? [Executive producer Michael McDonald and I] … [Read more...] about ‘American Crime’ Creator John Ridley Talks Season 2: “You Want People to Be Baffled”
