Perhaps its a little premature to be discussing the home video release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but a new rumor claims that the movie will stream exclusively on Netflix sometime after it's release in theaters this December. But the big kicker is that all six original movies will be available on the streaming giant prior to the film's release in theaters in a deal between Netflix and LucasFilm that gives Netflix exclusive access to the blockbuster franchise. And as suspected, it looks like AMC Theaters is planning an epic marathon of all previously released films before the new film hits countrywide. As of now, there is no way to stream the original Star Wars trilogy and the prequel trilogy. It is only available on Blu-ray and DVD, and as a digital download from various consumer outlets. But that could all change very shortly. As you may know, EPIX is cutting its ties with Netflix so that they can offer their downloadable content for offline viewing. This is something that … [Read more...] about Star Wars Movies Coming to Netflix & AMC Theaters?

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds has dropped a new single, “Black Star Dancing,” ahead of a new EP. The EP, also titled Black Star Dancing, will be released June 14 digitally and on 12″ vinyl. “Black Star Dancing” is Gallagher’s first new music since 2017’s Who Built The Moon?. The musician said that it combines “the influences of David Bowie, INXS, U2, Queen, Indeep and ZZ Top. “I might have been watching too much Top Of The Pops recently,” Gallagher said. “Anyway, it’s ‘dope.’ Not my words, but the words of Nile Rodgers who literally danced in the studio when he heard it.” Gallagher previously told NME that “everything I’m writing at the minute sounds like The Police, The Cure or if The Police and The Cure were in a band together.” 'Black Star Dancing’ is taken from the EP of the same name, which will be released digitally and on 12” vinyl on June … [Read more...] about Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds Preview EP With ‘Black Star Dancing’
Sean Spicer’s dancing days are over. The former White House press secretary was eliminated from ABC’s Dancing With the Stars on Monday night, despite a series of supportive tweets from President Trump. After Spicer was sent home during the show’s “boy band and girls group night,” Trump congratulated him for his nine-week dancing run, writing on Twitter: “A great try by @seanspicer. We are all proud of you!” Spicer thanked Trump for his support, which included the President rallying his followers to vote for his former press secretary on DWTS. After an underwhelming performance last week on his Dancing With the Stars debut, Sean Spicer has a plan to stay in the competition: A political-style campaign for votes. The former White House press secretary made the announcement on tonight’s episode of the ABC competition series. “We’re going to run this like a campaign,” he said. “Bumper stickers, yard signs, whatever we can do to get people to vote for us.” In case viewers missed the call for support, Spicer put out the word on social media urging fans, followers and MAGA supporters to vote 20 times. “Text SEAN 10 times to 21523 and vote 10 more times on http://abc.com,” he tweeted Monday, along with the hashtags #MAGA and #KAG. He has a website too – spicerarnold.com – which touts the slogan: “We’re counting on your votes to win the Mirror Ball!” Despite his personal appeals, Spicer is facing an uphill battle toward winning … [Read more...] about Sean Spicer Appeals To MAGA Supporters For ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Votes
Whether today is the beginning of the end of Donald Trump’s presidency or the end of its beginning, one’s thing for sure: partisan political warfare got real fast Wednesday as the House impeachment hearings went live on TV. Besides a hairspray-defying strong wind, Trumps worst nightmare started promptly at 10 AM ET/7 AM PT as the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence kicked off its first public hearing, and within minutes the Republican minority aimed to knock the Democrats off their game. Starting with a very real reality-TV moment of an interrupting question from Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-TX) as chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) tried to methodically lay out how the heavily televised day would go, the GOP looked to defang the proceeds citing a thousand parliamentary procedures. Clearly well-scripted for his big turn in the media glare, Sunday show regular and Hollywood congressman Schiff appeared ruffled by the rupture – it wouldn’t be the first time in … [Read more...] about Impeachment TV Hearing Descends Into Partisan Brawl As GOP Comes Out Swinging For Trump On Day 1
