Stop paying child support

Chance the Rapper isn't just hip-hop's favorite new artist ... he owns up to his responsibility in the child support department too. Chance struck an agreement with Kirsten Corley over how much he'll ante up in child support for their 17-month-old daughter. Apparently, the case was open and shut Monday when they both walked into court. A lawyer for Chance's ex told the Chicago Tribune ... "This case ended quickly because of the unusually high level of cooperation between the parents putting their child's best interest first." Chance's own lawyer, Tanya Stanish , said they had come to a fair resolution. Flo Rida is calling BS on the baby mama who claims he's a deadbeat dad, saying he already forks over a generous check every month ... and her lawsuit is nothing but a cash grab. Sources close to Flo tell TMZ he's been making monthly payments of $5k to Alexis Adams to care for their 7-month-old son, and feels blindsided by her taking him to court. We're told Flo and Alexis both agreed on the amount, but he thinks she's being greedy by asking a judge to force him to pay more. He says they were never a couple. Alexis acknowledges she's been getting payments, but feels it isn't nearly enough to support herself and the baby -- considering his ailments, and the high cost of living in NYC. Flo Rida has a 7-month-old baby boy in NYC, but he's not in the child's life and he's not paying support ... according to the baby mama who's now taking him to court. Alexis Adams says in docs, obtained by TMZ, she and Flo hooked up in December 2015, and had relations into mid-January 2016. She says little Zohar Paxton was born in September. We're told Alexis is saying the child has hydrocephalus, water on the brain, and she's struggling to cover medical expenses for his treatment. With negotiations set to begin Tuesday for a new Animation Guild contract, more than 2,600 industry figures have signed a petition calling for pay equity for color stylists, the animation industry’s only predominantly female craft, whose artists set the look, lighting and palette of cartoons. The 3,500-member Animation Guild, IATSE Local 839, hasn’t struck the industry since 1983, but leaders told their members recently that a strike this time around “is always a possibility, if not a probability.” The guild’s talks are separate from the recently concluded negotiations for a new film and TV contract covering some 43,000 members of IATSE’s 13 West Coast studio locals. The petition, organized by the Animation Guild’s Color Stylist Committee, is yet another sign of the growing movement for gender pay equity in Hollywood’s historically female-majority crafts. Taliban officials and supporters have been buying blue ticks on free speech warrior Elon Musk ’s Twitter . According to a BBC investigation , at least two Taliban officials and four prominent supporters are currently using the service, which Musk took over in October. The likes of Hedayatullah Hedayat, the head of the Taliban’s department for “access to information”, and Afghan Ministry of Information and Culture head Abdul Haq Hammad, both have ticks and a combined 350,000 followers, which Deadline has verified. The former had his paid-for blue tick removed last month, according to local media, but it has now returned. Neither were verified as official accounts by Twitter’s pre-Musk system and the BBC also listed a number of prominent Taliban supporters who have recently acquired the blue tick. Chief Keef just learned he's a daddy ... again ... bad news for him because he now owes another big chunk of change for child support ... TMZ has learned. Keef's attorney says the rapper admitted he's the father of a 10-month old child ... after being confronted with some pretty conclusive evidence -- his own DNA. According to the lawyer ... Erica Early went to court in Chicago to establish paternity. The DNA test shows there's a 99.9% chance Keef is the papa.
