Mandy Moore is getting off the road to focus on her health. On Tuesday, the singer announced that she is canceling the rest of her 2022 shows to focus on her pregnancy. “When we booked these shows, I wasn’t pregnant and although I truly thought I could power through, the way we are traveling (long hours on the bus and not getting proper rest) has caught up, taken its toll, and made it feel too challenging to proceed,” she wrote on Instagram. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Mandy Moore (@mandymooremm) Moore thanked fans who had come to see her shows earlier this year, saying it had been an “absolute dream to return to the stage,” but said it was time to prioritize her wellbeing. “I know that I have to put my family and my health (and the health of my baby) first and the best place for me to be right now is at home,” she wrote, before thanking fans for respecting her decision. “I can’t wait to get back … [Read more...] about Mandy Moore Cancels Remainder of 2022 Tour Dates to Focus on Her Pregnancy, Health

Ed Sheeran revealed in an interview on the Late Late Show that he will tour the U.S. in support of his latest album = — but don’t expect the trek to make landfall here in 2022. “I think we’re gonna announce by the end of the year,” Sheeran told host James Corden of a North American tour. “We’re basically finalizing a route now.” Sheeran — who is currently in the midst of a Wembley Stadium residency — added, “I’m super excited to bring this tour, it’s an insane-looking tour. We basically planned it from the end of the Divide Tour, because it was sort of well-publicized that it was the most people had gone to this tour, so I was like if we come back, we have to do all bells and whistles. The stage is nuts… there are fireworks and flames, there’s a band, it’s a whole thing.” The singer also promised a hits-filled setlist that spans his entire career. “You go on tour, for my first album, I basically just played my first album live. And my second album was like little bits … [Read more...] about Ed Sheeran Promises ‘Equals’ Tour Will Come to the U.S. Eventually
It’s Quinta Brunson’s World and We’re All Just Laughing in It
Quinta Brunson — creator, executive producer, and star of the hit comedy Abbott Elementary — could moonlight as a tour guide. She meets me at the Warner Bros. Television building on a crisp day in April. The building, tucked behind bushes and an open-air set of a quaint city street, is boxy and drab, one of the least magnificent structures I see on the massive lot. And yet Brunson has a way of showing its hidden magic. Flanked by a publicist and a studio rep, we load into a golf cart, where Brunson leads me on a tour of the WB campus — it also just happens to be a tour of one of the most exciting young careers in comedy. In fact, while we chat in front of an outdoor set of a white church used in Gilmore Girls and Pretty Little Liars , an eager fan on a stretch cart packed with visitors on a guided tour loudly points her out. In 2018, she was cast as a lead in a CW series called The End of the World As We Know It after auditioning in this very building. The show never … [Read more...] about It’s Quinta Brunson’s World and We’re All Just Laughing in It
