The trailer for the third and final season of Star Trek: Picard dropped during the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cincinnati Bengals AFC Championship Game. Paramount+ will premiere the final season on Thursday, Feb. 16 in the U.S. and new episodes of the 10-episode season will be available every Thursday. The trailer also confirmed the addition of two new cast members with Ed Speleers ( You ) joining as a series regular who aids Beverly Crusher’s medical efforts on worlds Starfleet has forgotten, and Todd Stashwick ( 12 Monkeys ), who will also appear in a recurring role as captain of the U.S.S. Jee-Woon Kim , one of South Korea’s most lauded directors, has teamed with Star Trek: Discovery writers Bo Yeon Kim and Erika Lippoldt to develop a new series about a Korean family immigrating to the U.S. The trio are developing the untitled project with eOne , the studio behind series such as Showtime’s Yellowjackets and ABC’s The Rookie franchise. Jee-Woon Kim will direct the project. He is behind Korean films such as I Saw The Devil, A Bittersweet Life, The Good, The Bad & The Weird, and A Tale of Two Sisters. " Star Trek: Voyager " actor Robert Picardo says his estranged wife is under investigation in a murder case, and he now believes his own life is in imminent danger. Picardo -- who's in the middle of an ugly divorce from Linda Pawlik -- asked a judge to throw Pawlik off his property STAT, because he's deathly afraid of her. She's currently living in a guest house on the property -- after Picardo got a restraining order against her. In new court docs, Picardo says Pawlik was questioned by cops after her friend, Edward Mello, was found dead Oct. 29 in a hotel room -- killed with a handgun he says was registered to Pawlik. Picardo claims Pawlik was ordered to turn over all 10 of her handguns when he got the restraining order ... but he claims at least 4 guns were never turned in -- and one was used to murder Mello. Getty Annie Wersching -- famous for roles in a number of hit TV shows over the years -- has died. Her publicist confirmed the news to Deadline -- and her husband, Stephen Full , issued a statement. He writes, "There is a cavernous hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it. She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn’t require music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. ‘Go find it. It’s everywhere.’ And find it we shall." Ted Danson , Kelsey Grammer , and Rhea Perlman are remembering their Cheers co-star Kirstie Alley following her death on Monday from cancer. Also paying tribute to Alley is longtime Cheers director/executive producer James Burrows. “I was on a plane today and did something I rarely do. I watched an old episode of Cheers ,” Danson who played Sam Malone, said in a statement to Deadline. “It was the episode where Tom Berenger proposes to Kirstie, who keeps saying no, even though she desperately wants to say yes. Kirstie was truly brilliant in it. Her ability to play a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown was both moving and hysterically funny. She made me laugh 30 years ago when she shot that scene, and she made me laugh today just as hard. As I got off the plane, I heard that Kirstie had died. Disney+ released the trailer for The Mandalorian Season 3 during halftime of the NFL Wild Card matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Star Wars spinoff from Lucasfilm will start streaming on March 1. Bravo dropped the trailer for Summer House Season 7 and the heat is on as Danielle Olivera and Lindsay Hubbard’s friendship is tested.
