UPDATE: Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes remain off the air as the network conducts an internal review of the situation following the revelation of a romantic relationship between the two news figures. ABC News President Kim Godwin confirmed in a memo the network was conducting an internal review as they remain off the air, according to a source. CNN first reported on the memo. Last week, Godwin told staffers that the relationship between the two anchors had become an “internal and external distraction” in deciding to pull them off the air. Godwin said on the staff call last week that “I want to say that while the relationship is not a violation of company policy, I really have taken the last few days to think about and work through what I think is best for the ABC News organization.” But later in the week, Semafor reported that an internal review was being conducted. Joe Cornish ’s teen ghosthunter drama Lockwood and Co. launches on Netflix globally today. The show, the streamer’s latest young-adult scripted series from the UK, stars Ruby Stokes ( Bridgerton ) and newcomers Cameron Chapman and Ali Hadji-Heshmati as a teen trio who run an independent ghost fighting agency in London while competing with adult-run corporate rivals. The eight-part series, from Cornish’s Complete Fiction banner, is based on Jonathan Stroud’s books about an alternate modern world in which murderous ghosts have been attacking people since the 1960s, and only teenagers have the ability to see and repeal them. Netflix ordered it as one of seven British originals announced in December 2020. CNBC is dropping Jay Leno ’s Garage , the classic car series that capitalized on the comedian’s prized collection, after seven seasons. The network chose not to renew the series after seven seasons, a source confirmed. KC Sullivan, named president last year, has chosen to focus on business oriented reality shows in the primetime lineup, including Shark Tank and Undercover Boss . But Jay Leno’s Garage , which started as a special in 2014 and became a series the next year, drew attention given Leno’s status as a former host of The Tonight Show and his ability to draw marquee guest stars, including President Joe Biden, who taped an appearance last year. In an earlier appearance, when he was serving as vice president, Biden appeared with former Secretary of State Colin Powell. TMZ.com Jay Leno got into a motorcycle crash last week and his injuries were no joke -- he shattered several bones. The comedian told the Las Vegas Review-Journal he suffered a broken collarbone, two fractured ribs and two cracked kneecaps during the January 17 accident that went unreported until now. Getty Jay said he's currently feeling "Ok," but he's still recovering. This accident comes on the heels of his frightening car fire in which he sustained severe facial burns and other injuries in his Burbank garage.
