RELATED: What the Dungeons & Dragons Directors Learned from Working on The Flash and Spider-Man "That's what is cool, he gets a moment of redemption and he gets to protect Peter, even though Peter would never know. It's his way of saying thank you. It's all in keeping with the complicated and sympathetic character of Toomes/Vulture, whose motivations are perhaps the most understandable of all Marvel villains. It was a really interesting thing in the development of the story. You couldn't just rely on the tropes of the villain being a murderer and killing a bunch of people. He had to be redeemable in some capacity in the end and that he believes everything he said, especially about his family. So it was a really fine walk to create a villain that still has that moment of redemption in the end. Those scenes with [Toomes] and Peter in the house, where he's driving Peter to the dance, that right there is the reason for doing the movie. That, more than anything else, is what I was … [Read more...] about Spider-Man Team Answer Questions About Twist Ending and Post-Credit Scene

RELATED: What the Dungeons & Dragons Directors Learned from Working on The Flash and Spider-Man It will be interesting to see what approach Spider-Man: Homecoming takes towards the post-credit scene. It has been common practice for Marvel to tease the next installment in the franchise or introduce new characters. For instance, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 teased the inclusion of Adam Warlock in the next Guardians movie. For Marvel, Thor: Ragnarok will be the next movie released so it isn't completely crazy that we might see a tease of that movie or maybe even perhaps something having to do with Spider-Man's involvement in Avengers: Infinity War. Tom Holland has been filming motion-capture for Infinity War and it is the next place that we will see Spider-Man within the MCU. … [Read more...] about Spider-Man: Homecoming Has 2 Post-Credit Scenes, What Are They?
While we still haven't gotten confirmation from Marvel or Sony that Donald Glover is playing The Prowler, it certainly could set up some interesting developments in Spider-Man: Homecoming 2, which may or may not introduce Miles Morales. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige recently confirmed that there is a Miles Morales lurking around somewhere in the MCU, hinting that this young character could certainly surface in future Spider-Man movies. Marvel has already confirmed a July 5, 2019 release date for Spider-Man: Homecoming 2, which producer Amy Pascal recently said will be set just minutes after the story of Avengers 4, arriving in theaters May 3, 2019. … [Read more...] about Spider-Man Sneak Peek Introduces Vulture and His Salvage Crew
RELATED: Mysterio Is Still Alive According to New Spider-Man: Far from Home Theory "Keaton is not in the movie, and Laura is not in the movie." That's a bummer on the one hand as seeing good actors do what they do best is always a treat. On the other hand, as anyone who has seen the latest trailer for the movie surely knows, there is already a whole lot going on. This will directly deal with the fallout from Avengers: Endgame, introduce several very formidable foes, take the solo Spidey franchise to Europe and bring Mysterio into the fold, who apparently comes from another version of Earth. So, yes, we're dealing with the multiverse (assuming we take a known master of illusion and trickery at his word). … [Read more...] about Michael Keaton’s Vulture Is Not Returning in Spider-Man: Far from Home
"D&D is such a unique look at the fantasy genre where it is contemporary in terms of the people playing it and the way they speak to each other. So we never wanted to spoof the genre of fantasy or take the piss out of it. But we did want to find another way into it that we hadn't necessarily seen before. Just the format of Dungeons & Dragons is so interesting and fun and all about critical thinking and thinking on your feet and figuring out ways to make things work after they fall flat. There's a lot of the spirit of that that we're trying to inject into the movie itself." Game adaptations have been doing well at the box office lately, from Sonic the Hedgehog to Detective Pikachu. Hopefully, the D&D movie will follow in their footsteps while introducing new swathes of the general audiences to its fantasy world. This news originated at The Hollywood Reporter. … [Read more...] about What the Dungeons & Dragons Directors Learned from Working on The Flash and Spider-Man
