EXCLUSIVE: Shooting on Fantastic Friends season two is set to wrap, with more Harry Potter and Game of Thrones alumni featuring. The show from filmmaker Daniel Sharp follows James and Oliver Phelps, aka the Weasley twins from Harry Potter , as they go on adrenaline-fuelled adventures with magical themes, accompanied by famous faces. Everything Everywhere All At Once announced itself this morning as a serious Oscar threat with 11 nominations , topping off with Best Picture. That includes performing noms for Michelle Yeoh , Jamie Lee Curtis, Stephanie Hsu and Ke Huy Quan . The film also drew noms for Original Screenplay, Costume, Original Score, Original Song, Film Editing and Directing for Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert. The overachieving journey of the film is almost as absurd as its parallel universe storyline. It goes far beyond being the rare film to premiere at the SXSW festival and find its way to Oscar almost a year later. Sebastian Croft , one of the actors of Heartstopper , is reacting to backlash over recent news he was cast in the Hogwarts Legacy video game. The LGBTQ+ Netflix series has been embraced by the community as it gives representation to the group. Croft plays the role of Ben in the teen drama and when he was announced to be voicing a playable character on the Harry Potter -inspired game, some fans criticized the move. All of the backlash Croft has received stems from author J.K. Rowling expressing opinions that have been deemed transphobic.
