Camille Cosby Calls Bill Cosby’s Guilty Charge “Mob Justice” In Startling Statement
Camille Cosby has spoken publicly for the first time since her husband Bill Cosby was found guilty of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in a Philadelphia suburb in 2004 – calling it “mob justice”. Camille Cosby, who has been married to The Cosby Show star since 1964, has gone after the Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele, the media and Cosby’s accusers in a statement that alludes to racial injustice. “The overall media, with their frenzied, relentless demonization of him and unquestioning acceptance of accusers’ allegations without any attendant proof, have superseded the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments, which guarantee due process and equal protection, and thereby eliminated the possibility of a fair trial and unbiased jury. Bill Cosby was labelled as guilty because the media and accusers said so,” she said. This comes after a jury of seven men and five women returned guilty verdicts last week on three counts of aggravated … [Read more...] about Camille Cosby Calls Bill Cosby’s Guilty Charge “Mob Justice” In Startling Statement

Getty Beyoncé broke the all-time Grammy record this weekend, an honor previously held by a classical musician for years, who'd be very happy for Bey if he was still around today. Georg Solti -- the Hungarian-British conductor who had the most Grammys before Bey took the mantle Sunday -- would absolutely celebrate her achievement ... so says his daughter, Claudia Solti . Georg died in '97 -- the year before he won his posthumous, record-setting 31st Grammy. Getty According to Claudia ... her dad's music brought people together, and she feels Beyoncé's work does the exact same thing -- more than enough reason to get excited. She tells us her father loved all kinds of music, and that she feels like he's probably somewhere out there smiling over the new milestone that's been hit ... even though, Claudia says he probably doesn't understand all the fuss about records. CBS An organization named in Georg's honor -- Georg Solti … [Read more...] about Beyoncé’s Grammy Record Predecessor, Georg Solti, Would Be Thrilled for Her

WGA & Luc Besson’s Seaside Productions Reach $1 Million Residuals Settlement
The WGA West has reached a $1 million settlement with Luc Besson ’s Seaside Productions to cover unpaid residuals on 23 films. Guild records show that the company, which is owned and managed by the French filmmaker, had a “history of contract violations and noncompliance” and has been “inconsistent in paying residuals.” Besson is perhaps best known as the writer-director of The Fifth Element , Lucy and last year’s Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, though it’s unclear which films are covered by the settlement. MLW Founder Court Bauer On His New Partnership With Reelz And His Lawsuit Against WWE: “It’s A Ruthless Business”
Almost two years ago, Major League Wrestling founder Court Bauer had quite literally buried his face in the sand after learning that Tubi had walked away from their deal to broadcast his sporting events. “I was on vacation and I was just shell shocked,” Bauer recalls to Deadline. “We took the family to the beach and I just face-planted into the sand. For two solid days, I was like a computer rebooting. You go through the dance of media rights deals. There are a lot of wrinkles along the way and bumps on the road. But he’s not about to forgive and forget about what happened with Tubi: the discovery period is expected to begin … [Read more...] about MLW Founder Court Bauer On His New Partnership With Reelz And His Lawsuit Against WWE: “It’s A Ruthless Business”
