The annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner will once again be missing one important guest. For the second year in a row, President Donald Trump has decided to skip the event and instead hold a rally instead, something the night’s host, Michelle Wolf, says is downright “cowardly.” Speaking to CBS News’ Jamie Wax on Saturday, Wolf was asked if it made it harder or easier given the fact Trump will not actually be in the room. “I like making fun of people to their face more than anything, like, more than behind their back,” the squeaky-voiced comedian replied. “It’s nicer to make fun of someone when they’re there.” She then added: “I think it’s cowardly not to go…the only other person that didn’t go was Reagan when he was shot. And he called in.” Wolf also stressed that her goal for her high-profile gig was not to make a huge political splash, insisting, “I just want people to be like, … [Read more...] about White House Correspondents’ Host Michelle Wolf Calls Out ‘Cowardly’ Trump For Skipping Dinner

That’s how it always goes down.”Minhaj chose to roast both the press and members of Trump’s administration, despite being “explicitly told not to go after the administration.”“A lot of people told me: Hasan, if you go after the administration, it would be petty, unfair, and childish,” he said, “In other words, presidential.
