Cavs forward Isaac Okoro had a religious experience while listening to 'Take Me To Church' on Monday ... and hilariously performed the song in the team's hot tub!! The 22-year-old former 5th overall draft pick was sitting in the team's hot tub (hey, gotta take care of the body) minding his business, listening to Hozier 's hit single when his teammate Darius Garland walked in. While the music was blasting, Garland started singing the chorus, and that's when Okoro got up and put on a show. In the midst of their third month as newly appointed DC co-Bosses, James Gunn and Peter Safran finally revealed their plans for an inter-connective universe for the comic book giant spanning largely film and TV in a strategy unlike the Warner Bros. brand has ever had before. Entitled Chapter One, “Gods and Monsters”, a portion of what will unfold between 2025-2027 includes five movies including the Gunn-penned Superman Legacy , a new Batman and Robin title, The Brave and the Bold , a Swamp Thing feature, and films centering around Supergirl and the deeper universe DC rogue squad The Authority . DC Bosses Peter Safran and James Gunn in an unveiling of their DC Universe Chapter 1 yesterday haven’t shut the door on Ezra Miller ’s possible return as the Flash . Despite the actor’s avalanche of 2022 tabloid headlines, the duo expressed their elation for Andy Muschietti’s The Flash, due out on June 16 after a long Covid delay, and how it will reset the DC universe as the hand-off occurs between the Snyder-verse and the new Safran/Gunn-verse. EXCLUSIVE: Ensemble Studio Theatre , one of New York’s premiere Off Broadway venues perhaps best known for its annual Marathon of One-Act Plays, announced today that Estefanía Fadul and Graeme Gillis have been appointed the new Co-Artistic Directors of the 55-year-old theater company. Gillis, who has been serving as Interim Artistic Director since William Carden retired in 2022 and is a long-time member of EST, will begin planning the 2023/2024 season with director/producer Fadul who will officially join the company in March. Over the past five decades, EST has developed thousands of new American plays and has grown into a company of over 600 actors, directors, playwrights, and designers. EST was founded and led by Curt Dempster beginning in 1968; he was succeeded as Artistic Director by William Carden in 2007. Fadul and Gillis mark the first co-leadership structure for the company. When new DC Co-Chairmen and CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran took their new posts last fall, there was a lot of agita in town with their swift decisions. This included the axing of Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman 3 , pausing the future of Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam, and subtracting Henry Cavill from their new Superman Legacy movie after the actor (with Warner Bros) announced his return on social as the Man of Steel and appeared in Black Adam . Nene Leakes is one of the most remembered stars of The Real Housewives of Atlanta becoming the breakout star of the franchise. Since Dexter : New Blood was such a success for Showtime, there has to be some kind of killer sequel in the works, right? Not exactly, Deadline has learned. There have been talks about expanding the Dexter universe but that’s all they are for now — talks . One of the ideas that has been discussed is a prequel but nothing is solid at this time. A spokesperson for Showtime declined comment. Interest in the future of the franchise has taken a front seat after Paramount Global said Tuesday that Showtime will no longer be a stand-alone brand. The company is rebranding the premium cable network as Paramount+ with Showtime as part of a wide-ranging change that also brings the two brands together in the streaming world.
