Fox has even more costumes and tunes in store with The Masked Singer set to return for its eighth season. On Monday the network revealed the official season 8 order for the long-running celebrity singing competition. The Masked Singer is among a number of reality series set to return in the 2022-2023 season including Crime Scene Kitchen, Next Level Chef and more. The renewal comes as little surprise considering The Masked Singer has been a steady performer for Fox. The series consistently marks the network’s top Wednesday primetime title. There has been talk that the eighth season of the show, which has filmed in LA, may move settings with Las Vegas touted as one possibility. Dio ’s debut album, Holy Diver , will be reissued this summer to mark what would have been the 80th birthday of the late Ronnie James Dio . The four-CD set, dubbed Holy Diver: Super Deluxe Edition , contains a new remix of the album by Joe Barresi (Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold), the original album remastered, a live album recorded in 1983, and a compendium of outtakes, single versions of tracks, and B-sides. It will come out on July 8, two days ahead of Dio’s birthday. Barresi’s new mix of the title cut sounds crisp — Dio’s vocal harmonies pop out amid Vivian Campbell’s heavy riffage. There’s more separation between the instruments on the remix, giving it a unique power. In addition to a digital release of the CD box set, Barraesi’s new mix will be available on 180-gram vinyl as a double-LP set, including the B-side “Evil Eyes” as a bonus cut.
