Shakira stopped by The Tonight Show to discuss her new gig as a judge on NBC series Dancing with Myself and took the opportunity to show off her TikTok dance skills. In a segment titled “Watch It Once TikTok Challenge,” Shakira proved she is the queen of rhythm. In the clip, Shakira joined host Jimmy Fallon to replicate two popular TikTok dances: one choreographed to “Jiggle Jiggle” by Duke and Jones with Louis Theroux and one by Shakira herself. The singer also discussed her recent single, “Te Felicito,” which dropped in April. She explained to Fallon that she doesn’t put out new music very often because her priority is to her kids, but added, “when I do it, I focus. The winners of 54 awards were unveiled ahead of tonight’s 2022 Billboard Music Awards (BBMA) during a TikTok livestream hosted by Tetris Kelly and Tiffany Taylor. The BBMAs honor the year’s top performing artists on the Billboard Charts in 62 categories across all genres of music. The remaining categories will be announced tonight, when Sean “Diddy” Combs hosts the broadcast from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, stating at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT on NBC and Peacock. Some highlights: As a first-time finalist, Olivia Rodrigo won big with six Billboard Music Awards, which is the most wins of the night so far. She is currently tied with Ye , who also has six wins. The future of high-profile unscripted NBC series including Amy Poehler’s Making It and Kristen Bell’s Family Game Fight ! is up in the air as the network has indefinitely parked them. Making It, Family Game Fight and AGT: Extreme did not make it into NBC’s schedule and it seems that they are the latest non-scripted series to neither be canceled or renewed – in a growing trend as highlighted by Fox earlier this morning as well as ABC with series such as Supermarket Sweep and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? It comes as the network has revealed that two of its other big unscripted series The Wheel and Million Dollar Island will launch in midseason. Making It, which is co-hosted by Parks and Recreation stars Poehler and Nick Offerman, has run for three seasons on the network.
