Shawn Windsor Detroit Free Press Published 10:34 PM EST Feb 2, 2019 It’s hard to explain a loss like this when you make nine threes and block 14 shots and dish out 23 assists. When you’ve won nine of your first 10 conference games. When you’re at home. When your opponent has lost seven in a row. It’s tempting to say Michigan State basketball didn’t take Indiana seriously early in its 79-75 loss Saturday evening at the Breslin Center. And today acid-tongued Jason Gardiner unleashes his most damning critique yet — branding contestant Gemma Collins “lazy” and saying she makes him “despair” at the state of society. He reckons the Towie star has put in barely any effort and has a poor attitude — and fears it will damage the show. The ice dance expert urges Gemma — partnered with pro Matt Evers — to not turn the competition into a “pantomime” and undermine the efforts of those who work hard to make it a hit. In a damning exclusive interview, Jason, 47, says: “I can always see who’s lazy. Gemma is lazy. She doesn’t look like her heart is in it at all. “I do despair — at the state of our society today and also the entertainment industry. Gemma Collins threatens to quit Dancing on Ice after Holly Willoughby … [Read more...] about Gemma Collins is lazy, mediocre and everything that’s wrong with entertainment, blasts Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner
STAR Trek Discovery second series will see iconic character Spock return to TV after 28 years. Ethan Peck takes over the role from original Mr. Spock actor Leonard Nimoy, who last appeared on television as the character in 1991. The Vulcan will reunite with his adopted sister and new lead character Michael Burnham, played by The Walking Dead's Sonequa Martin-Green, when the hour long show opener airs tonight in the US on CBS. The siblings are set to be key players as writers venture into Spock's hidden past. Burnham and Spock grew up together and fans will learn more about their history after Ambassador Sarek (James Frain) and Amanda Grayson (Mia Kirshner) adopted the character following the death of her parents. Kurtzman previously revealed the decision to make Michael a relative of Spock when he told Digital Spy: "This evolved from the storytelling. "The first Vulcan you're going to think of when you think of Vulcans is Spock, so as the story evolved, it became an … [Read more...] about Star Trek Discovery will see Spock return to TV after 28 years as second series explores Vulcan’s hidden past
