EXCLUSIVE: Fifth Season ’s COO Tim Robinson has left the Severance producer after four years. Robinson, a former Shine Group and Avalon boss, joined Fifth Season in 2018. The Brit has been working out of its LA base but exited recently. Robinson is well respected and much liked at Fifth Season, which was formerly known as Endeavor Content. He played a key role in the company’s sale to South Korean powerhouse CJ ENM last year and the subsequent rebrand to its new identity. CJ ENM bought 80% of Fifth Season for $785M, with Endeavor retaining the other 20%. The departure is understood to be amicable and Robinson is believed to be exploring new opportunities. With The White Lotus star Aubrey Plaza as the Saturday Night Live host this week, a spoof of the popular HBO anthology series appeared inevitable. It came in the form of The Black Lotus , featuring Chloe Fineman reprised her spot-on Jennifer Coolidge impersonation, which drew praise by the Emmy-winning White Lotus star. However, Plaza did not reprise her role as Harper; instead, she played a new character, a bartender with a short fuse. The skit largely spoofed the recent Italy-set second season of The White Lotus , including Michael Imperioli’s character Dominic, his son and the two local sex workers they got entangled with as well as Tanya’s (Coolidge) assistant Portia and her paramour Jack. There was also a wink to a mystery surrounding Plaza’s character Harper, whether or not she had sex with Theo James’ Cameron. Impacciatore is one of the Italian stars of the HBO smash’s second season, following the intertwining lives of employees and guests at a White Lotus luxury hotel in Sicily. The anthology created, written, directed and exec produced by Mike White had her playing Valentina, the tightly wound resort manager who falls for the concierge Isabella (Eleonora Romandini). Getty A woman claiming to be the mother of Mike Clevinger 's 10-month-old daughter says the White Sox pitcher abused her -- strangling her on one occasion -- and now, the MLB is reportedly investigating the allegations. The woman, Olivia Finestead , made the claims in a series of social media posts on Tuesday  ... alleging Clevinger terrorized her during their relationship. In one of her posts, Finestead said the 32-year-old "threw an iPad at me pregnant." She also said "he strangled me." The woman also alleged Clevinger "threw chew spit on our baby." According to The Athletic , Finestead has been in contact with the MLB over the allegations. The outlet also reported that the MLB has launched an investigation into the claims. Clevinger spent much of his career with Cleveland, but for the last 2.5 seasons he's been with the San Diego Padres. The Chicago White Sox signed him in free agency this offseason. BMF is coming back for a third season. Starz has renewed the drama series after the second season premiere on January 6. The network said that the second season debut recorded 4.1M multi-platform viewers. The audience was also up significantly from the Season 1 finale, which drew about 2.85M live+same-day multiplatform viewers.
