TMZ.com Dick Van Dyke got into a car crash in Malibu ... though he managed to avoid serious injury. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... police responded to a call of a single-car accident last Wednesday morning, and when deputies arrived they found Dick behind the wheel of a 2018 Lexus LS 500 which he'd crashed into a gate. Sitcom legend Dick Van Dyke suffered minor injuries last week in a single-car crash after his Lexus LS 500 slid into a gate in Malibu, police have confirmed. Van Dyke, 97, was driving the car in an area that had been experiencing record rainfall. After the actor’s vehicle slid into a gate on Wednesday, March 15, paramedics treated him at the scene for what TMZ reports was bleeding from the nose and mouth. Van Dyke, who starred in the classic sitcom The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961-66) and in such movies as Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang , appeared was revealed last month to be a contestant on Fox’s The Masked Singer . Check out the insane footage showing a driver barreling through an NYC intersection and crashing into another vehicle. Two people were killed and five others were injured. Police say Vitaliy Konoplyov was in a Toyota Camry cruising through a traffic light at the Brooklyn intersection on Monday afternoon, when he T-boned a Honda crossing in front of him in the opposite direction. It was not clear who had the right of way. Peter Gerber The impact from the collision sent the Toyota spiraling onto the sidewalk as people ran for cover. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Winter passed away at his L.A. area home Friday of natural causes. Winter was right there in front of the cameras in cases that include Michael Jackson , Whitney Houston , Brittany Murphy , Paul Walker , Tom Petty and Corey Haim . Perhaps the most notable case involved Michael Jackson's death . Winter had immediate concerns when he saw a shocking number of injection points in Jackson's body.
