Featuring a contemporary interview with Turner herself, the HBO Documentary Films title mixes talking heads with archive interviews and footage to paint a vivid picture of a musical legend. This is clearly an authorized biography — it’s executive produced by Turner’s husband, Erwin Bach — but it has enough verve and insight to entertain and enlighten. Wesley Snipes TV Series Being Sold During EFM EXCLUSIVE : Hannibal is launching sales at the virtual EFM on action TV series Paper Empire , starring Wesley Snipes, Robert Davi, Denise Richards, Steve Guttenberg, Anne Archer, Robert Knepper, Michael Nouri, and guest appearances from Kelsey Grammer and Danny Glover. The show was penned and directed by Robert Gillings and executive-produced by Michael Tadross Jr., Alexander Nistratov, and William Heming. Filmed in Miami FL and NY, the series follows Laurence Fintch (Davi) of Fintch Wealth Management Services, who seems to have it all figured out to become the greatest financial fraudster through the use of his cryptocurrency technology. Lionsgate and its premium subscription platform Starz have closed a multiyear, exclusive first window output deal for all theatrically released Lionsgate and Summit label films when current agreements expire at the end of 2021 and the end of 2022. The agreement will bring Starz franchises including John Wick as well as Borderlands , White Bird: A Wonder Story , Are You There God, It’s Me Margaret , Hunger Games prequel The Ballad of Songbirds & Snake and future installments of the Saw franchise. At a tech showcase for media buyers, an online prelude to the traditional mid-May upfront, executives emphasized the versatility of Disney, especially since the company took full control of Hulu in 2019. At the time of that transaction, Hulu was generating more than $1 billion in ad revenue, with eMarketer estimating it will reach $2.7 billion this year as dollars continue to migrate to streaming. The new lineup includes Disney Select, a way for marketers to select desired audiences from the company’s portfolio based on buyer behavior, household characteristics and psychographics.
