Billie Eilish teased her new album in an interview with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show Tuesday, February 23rd. The singer said the Covid-19 quarantine marked the first extended period of time off she’d had in four years, and she took that opportunity to make an album. “I don’t think I would’ve made the same album, or even the album at all, if it weren’t for Covid,” she said. “That doesn’t mean it’s about Covid at all, it’s just that, when things are different in your life, you’re different. That’s just how it is. A date and platform for the ceremony will be announced soon along with final eligibility determinations for this year’s nominees. The BBC and ITV have named Reemah Sakaan as the CEO of BritBox International, leading the subscription streamer’s growth around the world. Sakaan, currently ITV’s group director of SVOD and BritBox’s global creative director, will take up her new role in April and will spearhead the service’s push into 25 territories. She will lead a team of 100 people. In her current role, she has overseen the launch of BritBox in the UK. The streamer is also available in the U.S. and Canada, while it has also launched in Australia and a South Africa rollout is on the horizon.
