Tyra Banks is exiting the ballroom: Deadline has confirmed that she will no longer host Dancing with the Stars on Disney+ Banks first joined the show in season 29 on ABC to take over for the departing Tom Bergeron. Her tenure had mixed results; while she added a different level of energy to the ballroom, her live exchanges with both the judges and the contestants were often awkward. Her grand entrances also upstaged the pros, who remain a huge draw for longtime DWTS fans. Last season, DWTS paired Banks with season 19 Mirrorball Champion Alfonso Ribeiro . Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen is speaking out for the first time following a violent attack on March 13 in South Florida. “Thank you everyone for your overwhelming support. Your love and prayers are truly helping. My wife Lauren [Monroe] was thankfully not with me at the time of the incident. We are together now, and working on recovering in a safe space,” a statement released on behalf of Allen to ABC News reads. The statement continues, “We ask you to join us in our effort to move from confusion and shock to compassion and empathy. We understand this act of violence can be triggering for so many people. To all of the fans, veterans, and first responders in our global community, we are thinking of you all. Paul Grant , an actor that appeared in Star Wars : Return of the Jedi and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone , has died. He was 56. “I’m heartbroken… No girl deserves their dad to be taken away… He was so well known and loved [for his work]. He’s gone too soon,” Grant’s daughter Sophie Jayne Grant told Sky News . Grant played an Ewok in the George Lucas franchise and played a goblin in the Harry Potter franchise. The actor was reportedly found unresponsive on Thursday, March 16 at a train station in London and had been declared brain dead at the scene. Grant was taken off life support on Sunday, March 19.
