Bye-Bye ‘Blinders’ Out with a bang? Peaky Blinders’ creators unexpectedly announced this week that we’re going to be saying goodbye to the Shelby clan — for now. Writer Steven Knight and executive producer Caryn Mandabach said filming has commenced on the sixth and final season of BBC One’s gangster saga after the shoot was delayed by nearly a year because of the pesky pandemic. The Taliban commander, named Tawakul, arrives with a detail of gunmen.
