EXCLUSIVE : Okwui Okpokwasili ( Agatha: Coven of Chaos ) is the newest addition to the cast of Blumhouse , Morgan Creek, Universal and Peacock ‘s continuation of The Exorcist , eyed as the first film in a new franchise. The actress joins an ensemble that includes the original horror classic’s Ellen Burstyn as well as Leslie Odom Jr, Olivia Marcum, Ann Dowd, Lidya Jewett and Raphael Sbarge. The first Exorcist film from director William Friedkin grossed over $441 million and won two Oscars upon its 1973 release, telling the story of Chris MacNeil’s (Burstyn) efforts to save her demon-possessed daughter Regan (Linda Blair). Paramount Pictures , Nickelodeon Movies and Point Grey Productions have set an all-star voice cast for their upcoming CG-animated theatrical feature Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem , Seth Rogen revealed on Saturday. The Point Grey principal, who voices mutant warthog Bebop, made the announcement at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday night in an appearance alongside lead cast members Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu and Brady Noon. Abbey will voice Ninja Turtle Donatello, with Brown Jr. as Michelangelo, Cantu as Leonardo and Noon as Raphael. Out of the sewers and onto the screen: The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back, with a new look and a first trailer for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem from Paramount Pictures and Seth Rogen. The reboot is the second fully animated big screen outing for the Turtle brothers, and boasts a new animation style that many are comparing to recent Spider-Man animations. The synopsis: After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts.
