The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences has revealed the nominees for the 25th annual Webby Awards ahead of its virtual ceremony on Tuesday May 18, 2021 hosted by The Good Place and Legendary’s Jameela Jamil. The Webbys celebrate the year’s best Internet work as well as outstanding individuals and organizations who are using the Internet to respond to the impact of the coronavirus, social injustice and more. Nominees in the entertainment realm include Marvel Entertainment, OWN, The Daily Show’ s Trevor Noah , Megan Thee Stallion ,  Disney+ and Ratatouille: The Tik Tok Musical and more. All nominees are eligible to take home the Internet industry’s two most prestigious awards: The Webby Award, selected by the Academy, and The Webby People’s Voice Award. Amazon Studios has announced that it will co-produce BBC psychological thriller Chloe , and the six-part series has set a cast that includes The Crown star Erin Doherty . Produced by Mam Tor Productions, run by former Cuba Pictures cofounder Tally Garner, Chloe was originally announced by the BBC in February 2020 and is created and written by Sex Education director Alice Seabright. It centers on the character of Becky, who becomes obsessed with the death of her estranged friend Chloe. Becky assumes a new identity to infiltrate the enviable lives of Chloe’s closest friends as she attempts to establish what happened. Through her alter-ego Sasha, Becky becomes a powerful, transgressive heroine; a popular, well-connected “someone” with a life, and loves, that are far more exciting and addictive than the “no one” she is as Becky. However, the pretense soon obscures and conflates reality, and Becky risks losing herself completely. Not so long ago, the makers of Chehre had to postpone the release of the film owing to the surge in COVID-19 positive cases in India. For the unversed, Chehre starring Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles, was supposed to hit the theatres on April 9, 2021. Apart from these two stars, the film also casts Rhea Chakraborty, Annu Kapoor, Krystle D'Souza, Raghubir Yadav and Dhritiman Chatterjee in key roles. In his recent tete-a-tete with Indian Express, when Anand Pandit was asked about the reason behind Rhea Chakraborty's name being missing from Chehre's poster, the producer said that he doesn't see any reason for not mentioning her name.
