Marvel's Black Panther is one of the most highly-anticipated movies of the year and is poised to be 2018's first legitimate blockbuster. As the release date approaches and the marketing campaign keeps rolling down the tracks, some brand new videos have been released online to further hype up T'Challa's upcoming solo adventure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel's Black Panther is shaping up to be the first box office blockbuster of 2018, with new details about one pivotal character surfacing that could have you looking at him in a whole different light. Christopher Priest, who became the first black writer at either Marvel or DC in 1983, is perhaps best known for his iconic run of Black Panther comics in 1998, which helped revitalize the brand and serves as the inspiration for next month's Black Panther movie. At the beginning of that run at Marvel Comics , Priest created the character Everett K. Ross, played by Martin Freeman in Captain America: Civil War and Black Panther . The new report states that we will finally see some real footage of the movie starting on February 16th for the opening of Marvel's Black Panther . Some have called Guardians of the Galaxy the Star Wars of the MCU and it appears that Marvel had the idea for the James Bond element back when the movie was being pitched. Excitement is already high for Black Panther , which is now less than a month away and one of the most anticipated movies of 2018.
