Apple TV+ has unveiled the first look at new series Hello Tomorrow ! , starring and executive produced by Billy Crudup and The Last Thing He Told Me , starring and EP’ed by Jennifer Garner , and revealed the premiere date for Season 2 of Schmigadoon! . The streaming network has set Friday, April 7 for the Season 2 premiere of Schmigadoon! From co-creators Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, in Season 2, having found true love in the town of Schmigadoon, the upcoming season will find Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) and Melissa (Cecily Strong) in Schmicago, the reimagined world of ’60s and ’70s musicals. The 1619 Project has an airdate. The six-part limited docuseries, which is an expansion of the book created by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones and The New York Times Magazine, is set to premiere with two episodes on Hulu Jan. 26, with two episodes releasing weekly thereafter. The episodes ― “Democracy,” “Race,” “Music,” “Capitalism,” “Fear” and “Justice” ― are adapted from essays from The New York Times bestseller The 1619 Project: A New Origin Story that examines how the legacy of slavery shaped different aspects of contemporary American life. “This is a story of America, that’s our argument,” said Hannah-Jones at the Television Critics Tour on Saturday. “You can’t understand the story of America without understanding the story of slavery. Comedy Central has set Wednesday, February 8, for the Season 26 premiere of South Park . Watch a teaser above. The great American comeback continues for Great American Family fave Lori Loughlin . The CW has set spring premiere dates for the final seasons of its Archieverse drama Riverdale and YA sleuth series Nancy Drew . Fronted by KJ Apa , Lili Reinhart , Camila Mendes and Cole Sprouse , Riverdale ‘s swan-song Season 7 will bow at 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, following a new episode of The Flash. The Kennedy McMann -led Nancy Drew begins its fourth and last season at 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 31. The network also today said that both series will wrap their runs on the same night, with the finales airing back-to-back Wednesday, August 23. Riverdale returns with a time warp. The previously announced Michael Jackson stage musical has gotten a name and a pre- Broadway premiere date: The newly titled Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough will begin performances in Chicago on October 29. The musical, inspired by the life of the late King of Pop and featuring a book by Lynn Nottage , will run through December 1 at Chicago’s James M. Nederlander Theatre (formerly the Oriental Theatre). Playwright Nottage has won two Pulitzer Prizes for drama, the first in 2009 for Ruined and the second in 2017 for Sweat .
