After seven seasons as the sword wielding and scene slaying Michonne on The Walking Dead , Danai Gurira touchingly left on the high seas tonight in the AMC zombie apocalypse series’ “What We Become” episode. “It was everything,” the actor states of her near final scenes on the radio with Michonne’s children with the presumed dead Rick Grimes ( Andrew Lincoln ) and her exit from the show based on Robert Kirkman’s comics. “It was peaceful. EXCLUSIVE: Norman Reedus is doubling down at AMC. Less than a week after it was announced that The Walking Dead star would be fronting his own spinoff of the cabler’s zombie apocalypse series with Melissa McBride, Reedus has now signed a first look development deal with AMC Studios . Set to run for two years, the agreement with the AMC Network’s unit comes as Reedus has formed his own bigbaldhead production shingle. Partnering with Brillstein Entertainment ’s JoAnne Colonna and former AMC Scripted Programming VP Amanda Verdon to run bigbaldhead, Reedus has already lined up an adaptation of Aftershock Comics’ Undone By Blood , in which he will likely star, as well as EP.. Taking a new spin on the Western genre, the Undone By Blood TV series will have writers Zac Thompson and Lonnie Nadler as Co-EPs and Aftershock’s Jon and Lee Kramer as EPs, along with Verdon and Colonna. We'll find out in just a few short days if Sony's long-awaited Dark Tower adaptation will be a hit or miss at the box office, but the studio already has plans in place for a trilogy, along with a TV series that will air between the movies. Even if The Dark Tower isn't a huge hit, it was made under a modest $60 million budget, which means a sequel is likely inevitable, and when that happens, Stephen King recently revealed he wants it to be an R-rated venture. Here's what the author had to say about the sequel, and how he understands why this first movie had to be PG-13. "I understand the rationale behind the movie that is PG-13. The 78th annual Golden Globes had a unique opportunity to right some wrongs and take Hollywood’s awards season into a new realm coming out of the coronavirus pandemic. Unless disaster was the intention, the show absolutely missed it with a bloated and glitchy ceremony that was pure Hindenburg almost from the beginning. Already mired in anger from some of the industry’s heaviest hitters over the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s lack of Black members , Sunday night’s bicoastal ceremony hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler certainly was a Globes to remember, in the worst way. And it’s not like last year’s Ricky Gervais-fronted event was any great shakes to begin with, but it looks positively artful in comparison now. A lawyer representing nearly a dozen people is calling for a sexual abuse investigation against rapper T.I. and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris. In a letter sent to state and federal authorities in Georgia and California, lawyer Tyrone A. Blackburn, who is representing the 11 “victimized” people, alleged “sexual abuse, forced ingestion of illegal narcotics, kidnapping, terroristic threats and false imprisonment” against the rapper (birth name Clifford Harris) and his wife spanning from 2005 to 2018, the New York Times reports . Five of the victims cited in the letters claimed they were raped or sexually assaulted by the couple. One of the women, a military veteran, says she was drugged by the couple after meeting them at a club; she was later taken to their hotel room — experiencing the effects of the alleged drugging — where she claimed Tiny bathed her and T.I., and the three then engaged in sex, during which the woman vomited.
