EXCLUSIVE: Mandalay Sports Media and the NFL began filming behind the scenes last October and shot more than 100 hours of material leading up to pop superstar Katy Perry’s 12 1/2-minute halftime performance at the Super Bowl this February in Glendale, AZ. The result is Katy Perry: Making Of The Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show, a documentary that has just been set to world premiere tomorrow at the La Costa Film Festival. The announcement was just made Super Bowl XLIX, a nail-biter between New England and Seattle won by the Patriots, drew a record 114.5 million viewers on NBC, and Perry’s halftime show — which featured Missy Elliot and Lenny Kravitz, snagged 118.5 million viewers. As many as 120 million-plus had tuned into the game as it hit the fourth quarter. Last April, Aaron Lee Tasjan was one of the artists who was invited to perform as part of Willie Nelson’s virtual “Come and Toke It” livestream, a 4-hour-20-minute musical celebration infused with a healthy amount of THC. As part of the appearance, the East Nashville singer-songwriter got to meet and chat with his hero Nelson and then play a few songs. It should have been a triumphant occasion, but at least one unhappy viewer threatened to ruin the experience for Tasjan. “This lady, apparently her cat had gotten really out of sorts when my guitar playing started happening and her cat was running around the room, screaming and upset,” Tasjan recalls during a Zoom conversation with Rolling Stone. “She had tagged all the people who were involved with the show in her tweets. The hype for IT is incredibly real at this point. The movie is set to arrive in theaters on September 8 and we could be looking at one of the biggest horror hits at the box office in a long time if director Andres Muschietti delivers on the promise of this movie. Much of that will ride on the merits of Bill Skarsgard's performance as Pennywise the Dancing Clown , but it's pretty safe to say he nailed it. The IT VR experience has just been released online and it gives us our best taste of the actor's take on Pennywise yet. And it is pure terror. Warner Bros. just release IT: Float online and, though we don't actually see a lot of Pennywise, we hear him a ton and it is completely chilling. The IT VR experience starts out by soaring over the streets of Derry, which takes us to the famous and highly advertised scene where Georgie loses his boat in the sewers, bringing him face-to-face with Pennywise. EXCLUSIVE Tyga 's getting federal backup in his mission to nail the person he says leaked photos of his exposed penis. Tyga's legal team tells TMZ, they notified the FBI on Wednesday morning ... about the photos which recently popped up on a blog post claiming Tyga sent them during a sexting session. His attorney Lee Hutton says they went to the feds because they believe the images were hacked -- either from Tyga or someone with whom he intentionally shared the pics. Hutton says they've already obtained the email that was sent to multiple media outlets, including the blog that posted the story ... and they're tracing it in hopes of getting closer to the culprit. We've also spoken to a rep for Mia Isabella -- the model Tyga was allegedly texting -- and she says Mia had nothing to do with sending photos or text messages to the media.
