Part of Alice Cooper ’s enduring appeal has been the fact that, unlike many of his Seventies FM-radio peers, he always rejected the notion that rock & roll should be Serious Art. “School’s Out” is just a distant cousin of Chuck Berry’s “School Days,” and “I’m Eighteen” is inherently funny since Cooper was 23 when it became a hit, and he hasn’t stopped singing it for the past 50 years. That’s why his great Seventies albums like Love It to Death and Killer were great in the first place. You could be in on the joke (or not) and still feel a genuine connection to the group’s gritty Detroit rock. That spirit of rock & roll abandon still exists in Cooper’s music half a century later, and his inherent showmanship is why people still fill theaters to see his guillotine act. After being introduced in 2013's Man of Steel , Henry Cavill returns as Superman in next year's highly-anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice , which the actor revealed over the weekend will make "cinematic history." During another interview with The Anglophile Channel , Henry Cavill was asked how many more times he would like to play Superman on the big screen. Here's what he had to say below. "As many as it takes. I love the character. I love working with Warner Bros. and what they're doing with it, and so fingers crossed I'll be able to tell the story for many, many years to come."
