x Next week’s episode of The Walking Dead is a big one. A huge one, in fact. Titled “What Comes After,” the fifth installment of The Walking Dead season 9 will also be Rick’s last, as Andrew Lincoln prepares to leave the zombie juggernaut for pastures anew. Judging by last night’s promo, it’ll be a bittersweet finale for the show’s fearless leader, as he stumbles mindlessly towards ground zero. Which is to say that the visibly distressed Rick will be journeying back to Atlanta in the hope of evading a herd of flesh-munching zombies. Will he make it out alive? Or has he been doomed to the same fate as Carl Grimes? We’ll find out very soon indeed. One thing’s immediately clear: not everyone is ready to say goodbye to Andrew Lincoln’s protagonist, as evidenced by the outpouring of support and emotional tributes that began circulating around Twitter yesterday evening. IM LITERALLY SO EMOTIONAL. THAT PREVIEW GOT ME CRYING. IM NOT … [Read more...] about The Walking Dead Fanbase Braces For Rick’s Imminent Exit

2 minutes ago Semi-spoilers for anyone who isn't caught up with The Walking Dead through the latest episode of Season 9. For the most part, The Walking Dead ends its characters' stories in concrete ways, usually through uncomfortable, gore-infused deaths. Surprisingly, however, Austin Amelio's Dwight went completely AWOL after Season 8's finale capped off the All Out War. With Season 9's time jump and other show-altering elements, fans want to know where Dwight is, and the actor recently offered up his own answer. According to Amelio: I'm going to find Sherry. I'm alive. He's not killing me. We'll see what happens. Of course, this is largely what audiences were assuming was happening with Dwight, who finally found himself a banished, but free, man after Rick took Negan down once and for all. (Well, maybe not permanently.) The last time Dwight appeared on screen, he'd found a touching note from Sherry that inspired him to hit the road once more to find her. Dwight's … [Read more...] about What The Walking Dead’s Dwight Is Doing, According To The Actor
x Unfortunately, we’ve only got two more episodes of Rick Grimes left on The Walking Dead. And though we’ve known for a while now that Andrew Lincoln would be exiting the show that he’s led for almost a decade sometime in the first half of season 9, it’s finally about to happen. So, as is usual for TWD, it looks like we should get ready to mourn another beloved character, right? Well, maybe not. Obviously, the past several years of the series have taught us to expect every departing cast member to go out with a grisly demise, but Lincoln and the rest of the gang have been pretty careful to leave the option open that Rick might not die. Whether that’ll actually be the case or not remains to be seen, but either way, the actor’s on his way out and now, he’s penned a heartbreaking letter to the fans, thanking them for coming on this journey with him. Here’s how it reads: “Thank you… For coming with us on this journey. For … [Read more...] about Read Andrew Lincoln’s Goodbye Letter To The Walking Dead
6 minutes ago Spoiler warning for anyone who hasn't yet caught up with The Walking Dead's latest episode. The Walking Dead's biggest mystery at this point is "How will Rick leave the show?" which is something that should get explained and resolved quite soon. In the episode "Warning Signs," though, fans finally learned more about Jadis/Anne's helicopter secrets, which may shine some light on mysteries that has have gone unresolved for years. Is the helicopter pilot's group responsible for missing characters like Heath and Sherry? Also, will that be how Rick says farewell? After it was revealed that Anne had previously been guilty of trading human beings for junkyard supplies, viewers' minds raced to affix the helicopter reveal to the overall narrative. Once there's an option like "survivor traffickers" out there, it becomes a little easier to understand how characters like Heath may have just disappeared without a trace. No physical proof has been discovered just yet, but … [Read more...] about Does The Walking Dead’s Helicopter Twist Explain Missing Characters Like Heath?
15 hours ago Major spoilers below for anyone who hasn't yet watched The Walking Dead's latest episode, "Warning Signs." For quite a while now, The Walking Dead has teased viewers with a rarely seen helicopter flying above the communities. In Season 8, we learned that Anne-as-Jadis was the big connection, and the latest episode offered up some actual answers. No surprise that it wasn't a full-blown explanation, nor that extremely dark implications are involved. Who's In The Helicopter, And What's Their Deal? The still-unnamed helicopter pilot is apparently part of a larger group that possibly trades people for supplies. What they do with these new recruits, though, is anybody's sordid guess for now. Anne would have some answers, but only as her Jadis persona, since that's how they know her. Yeah, she was totally trafficking her junkyard tribe members to keep up their bohemian lifestyle. People for paint! As one of the group's pied pipers gathering others for the cause, Anne … [Read more...] about The Walking Dead’s Helicopter Mystery Finally Got Some Answers
