Anderson Cooper will host a new Sunday primetime series for CNN , The Whole Story with Anderson Cooper , as the network works to revitalize its nighttime lineup. The new series, which will be a recurring weekly series, will feature single subject episodes from the network’s longform storytelling team. That will include special interviews, profiles and investigations. The debut is set for April 16 at 8 PM ET. Willem Dafoe And Robert Eggers Eye Reunion On The Director’s ‘Nosferatu’
EXCLUSIVE: Robert Eggers and his The Lighthouse star Willem Dafoe have found their next project on which to collaborate, with Dafoe in talks to join Eggers’ Nosferatu at Focus Features. Lily Rose-Depp, Bill Skarsgard and Nicholas Hoult already are on board, with Eggers writing and directing. Jeff Robinov, John Graham, Eggers, Chris Columbus and Eleanor Columbus are producing. In the new reimagining, Nosferatu is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman (Depp) in 19th century Germany and the ancient Transylvanian vampire (Skarsgard) who stalks her, bringing untold horror with him. Focus had no comment on the project. It is unknown who Dafoe will be playing. BAFTA has pulled the curtain back on its Television Awards nominations, and This Is Going To Hurt and The Responder are leading the chase for a famous bronze mask. The BBC dramas each have six nominations across the BAFTA Television Awards and BAFTA Television Craft Awards, including Leading Actor for Ben Whishaw and Martin Freeman. Whishaw plays junior doctor Adam Kay in This Is Going To Hurt , which was co-produced by AMC. Freeman features as an urgent response police officer in The Responder . This Is Going To Hurt is nominated for Mini Series, while The Responder will compete in the Drama Series race.
