The awards season is bringing in a brand new joy in the film circles. After Film fare awards nominations were announced, now its the turn of South Indian International Movie Awards(SIIMA). The nominations list for the year 2015 of Telugu movies has Manam and Race Gurram topping the charts with highest number of nominations with 11 each. Voting for this biggest South movie awards will open on 18th June, 2015, as informed by the SIIMA. Apparently, like all the awards does, this list too had its share of disappointments and YAY moments of the fan boys. While Mahesh Babu, who failed to score a nomination in the Film fare awards gets a place in SIIMA, Nagarjuna, who has won all the accolades for his performance in Manam, did not get a nomination in SIIMA Awards. On its first Tuesday (July 16), the troubled action-comedy Stuber took in a surprisingly strong $1.4 million, up a huge 72 percent from the day before and not all that far behind the $2.2 million it earned Sunday. The secret behind the number wasn't a post-opening marketing blitz waged in hopes of salvaging the R-rated Fox film, but a "discount Tuesday."
