Silicon Valley finished its sixth and final season on HBO on Sunday night with a swan song episode for Pied Piper. Created by Mike Judge, John Altschuler, and Dave Krinsky, the Emmy-nominated Silicon Valley is a subversive satire of modern-day tech sector with its the brightest and the biggest aren’t necessarily the best. “Silicon Valley has been a career and life highlight for us,” series executive producers/showrunners Mike Judge and Alec Berg said when the final season was announced in May. “We’ll miss it desperately, but we’ve always let Pied Piper’s journey guide the way, and Season 6 seems to be the fitting conclusion. After a quick celebratory embrace, Bo sees a young girl in a store who we're led to believe is Harmony, the child Gabby Gabby spent most of the movie chasing. Bo immediately stared longingly at "the girl from the store" saying, "she's the one. I feel a connection again, Woody. Like I'm supposed to … [Read more...] about Toy Story 4 Alternate Ending Brings Unexpected Twist for Woody & Bo Peep
“See that guy,” Jim Morrison once remarked, pointing to Ray Manzarek: “He is the Doors.” Although Morrison received all the attention, it was Manzarek’s jazzy keyboard work that gave the Doors their distinct sound. The Doors and the post-Morrison Doors are gone and Manzarek is back with a solo album and nationwide tour. “It’s a brand new thing,” Ray smiles. “The only time I’ve ever heard a request for ‘Light My Fire’ was once in the South and they were only joking anyways. I’m operating in an area that’s a combination of rock and jazz; it isn’t either/or. It sounds like the Doors because I was in the Doors, but I’ve finally created exactly what I wanted. “Without seeing the band in person, the album [The Golden Scarab] tends to be esoteric. It’s a bit difficult to figure out. I knew the album was going to take time to get off the ground because it takes time to really get … [Read more...] about Ray Manzarek Opens a New Door: Jazz
